Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Terence Penny. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Terence, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
I knew I wanted to pursue music professionally after I had went through a horrible church hurt situation. My music had been a major comfort to me during that time along with supporting people who were in a dark place also. At that point I came to the conclusion that I wanted to dedicate my life to this.

Terence, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I got into the Music industry by first going to a bunch of open mics throughout my city. I than created a project with the last 400 dollars I had and printed CDs almost 8 years ago. I had sold 200 CDs by myself which lead to me performing throughout the United States and Europe. I think what sets me apart from most artist is I am willing to work hard. I don’t wait for opportunity I create them.
What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?
I believe the best way to support artist would be creating partnership opportunities between artist and companies. The more partnership collaborations the more the art is exposed along with promotion of the companies.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My goal with my art is to make relatable music to the everyday person. Apart from music I still work a 9-5 with everyday people. My goal is to encourage those people to not quit on their dreams and to keep pushing even if it feels to far from obtaining.
