We caught up with the brilliant and insightful ReJuan Campbell a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, ReJuan thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So, naming is such a challenge. How did you come up with the name of your brand?

How I came up with my name is from Odd Future. A couple of friends and I had a group called odd future teens, in the group we all had names that fit for us in Wolf gang. So one day Im sitting on & it hits me… I say out loud ill be Casper and it stuck. I decided to keep the name for my artist name because the passing of my brother Tyler (Teekill) who was also a member. I honestly think CASPR is just a crazy looking way to read & spell it too.

ReJuan, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Starting off as a young man in I was introduced to every form of music from jazz, gospel, r&b, rock & ect . I started singing & dancing at an age I dont even remember but it has always just been that much of a love for me. I was one of those kids who made a song out of anything. As I grew older I started to be into more instrumental music and in my free time that is what i would study and practice with me going to a school of performing arts it made it easy for me to find my own way to create. My final thing that confirmed music was in college one day I decided to take a break from homework and listen to some beats, but something came over me with this beat and in moments i wrote my first song that i really love. What sets me apart from other artist is that my music is a something that is full of real expression and soul. I do my best to make an essence around the song that draws you in with is level of production and words, in my more recent releases Ive started to find more of my lane and i hope people are ready for whats next.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

For me the most impactful aspect as a creative is being able to see the effects of it on others moments like that are what you do it for

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?

How I keep in touch is by being very interactive with my supporters, I think the people who enjoy my music understand me as a artist and appreciate my creative process
