We recently connected with Kyle Faucheux and have shared our conversation below.
Kyle, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. So, naming is such a challenge. How did you come up with the name of your brand?
After going through bad idea, after bad idea I landed on the name Hidden Pine. The name Hidden Pine has very personal meaning to me and my family. Hidden Pine was created out of necessity to have the family dynamic we wanted. My wife and I just had our first baby and we were both working from home and raising him at the same time, it started to become difficult to do it all. She and I discussed that I would start freelancing more while she focused on him. When I first started Hidden Pine I wasn’t sure how my current job was going to react to it so I didn’t want to use my real name, I wanted to be a little incognito, so I became “Hidden”. Little did I know, my current job would fully support my passion and we now send each other leads to be more successful. The Pine part of the name comes from my family’s love for the outdoors. Pine trees have also always resembled my wife and I’s relationship, the sturdiness and long lastingness of them. Simple enough idea behind the name, but as the brand grew the idea of the name grew with it as well. Hidden Pine became the idea that people are looking for guidance and direction with their brand and I want to help guide them to find it.

Kyle, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
At this very moment the mission driving my creative journey is my family. Being able to provide for them and give them the life they deserve drives me to grind every day. I have worked long hard hours to build Hidden Pine to where it is now and it’s been all for them. Long term, my goal is to establish Hidden Pine as a well known firm and grow it to support others and hopefully one day have my children working with me and for me to pass it onto them.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being a creative is seeing and hearing the excitement and happiness from my clients about their end product. Each project has its highs and lows but at the end of the day when they are happy it reignites my passion for design. Being able to focus my creativity to help other solve their problem is where I thrive. I truly love designing, and I’ve been lucky enough to turn my passion and craft into a career.
