Adia, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear how you think where to draw the line in terms of asking friends and family to support your business – what’s okay and what’s over the line?
I am the owner and Lead Floral Designer for Amazing Decor Interior Aesthetics, LLC (ADIA). My mission to create classic Floral Designs for our client‘s special occasion, wedding, event, or home through floral design, event styling, and decor.
Often times I ask my family and friends to assist with large projects and events and I’m so thankful that I have such a supportive group of people in my life. They make floral deliveries, assist with wedding and event design set-up, and they are my biggest cheerleaders. I have been running my business for over 4 years now and my family and friends are a huge part of my team. Honestly without their support, I’m not sure I would have been able to serve as many clients in the last 4 years.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am the Owner and Lead Floral Stylist for Amazing Decor Interior Aesthetics, LLC (ADIA). I have a deep passion for designing beautiful, unique, and timeless creations for my clients. After losing my father and biggest cheerleader to liver cancer, I placed my grief into passion and started creating beautiful arrangements for my own home. Others took notice and it blossomed into the amazing, thriving business that it is today, ADIA.
ADIA is a Certified Small Disadvantage Woman Owned and Minority operated Business, serving customers with a mission to create classic Floral Designs for their special occasions, weddings, events, or homes through floral design, event styling, and decor.
ADIA’s purpose is to make sure they captivate their client’s unique aesthetic vision for their very special moments. Their style is timeless, unique, and always professional. ADIA’s desire is for their clients to have a stress-free experience of the highest quality.
I am also a dedicated wife and mother. People often ask me how I balance it all; and the answer is, with God First─ it takes strong faith, prayer, and trusting God. He gives me all the strength I need to make it all work, and it all seems to be working so far.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Building my audience, clients, and most of my biggest supporters has come from my Social Media platforms. When I begin my business over 4 years ago, I made an Instagram and Facebook page. Once I created both platforms I began creating post, Live videos creating arrangements, weekly post providing services and selling products.
After a few months on both platforms my audience and clients continue to grow and my business sales increased as well.; I was blown away. In addition, I had so much support that a lot my business also came from word of mouth from my Social Media platforms and my new clients.
My advice to new businesses building their Social Media Audience is to stay consistently engaged, connected and available to your followers. This kind of consistent engagement with your Social Media Audience will continue to build up your following and business sales.

I believe being a business with a mission to always be professional and make sure our client’s have a stress-free experience of the highest quality helps us build a positive reputation in The Floral Design market.
