We recently connected with Ja’shaun Rowden and have shared our conversation below.

Ja’shaun, appreciate you joining us today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?

The album that will always stay close to my heart is my debut project ‘2023: The Album’. An album that took over a year and depicts all aspects of my evolution as an artist and a person. I started the project when I had first started taking music seriously with By Any Mean’s owner & engineer Gigi. ‘What You What (Gigi Brought Me Lemonade)’ was the first few songs recorded and immediately made its mark as iconic is my eyes.
Throughout the year of 2022 as I continued to learn, my sound had changed and my knowledge was pushing past its limits. It allowed me to truly know I was exactly where I needed to be.

Ja’shaun, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I’m currently 19 years old and amateur recording artist and engineer, I own and operate my own ‘Playboy Production Studios’. I am known artistically as Looney Mac, The Guardian Angel and Voice Of The Silenced; Branded to be a spiritual ear of purity. I print and sell my own clothing as well and have started my own charity organization (To Be Announced Soon). My team and I work night and day to provide content to connect and communicate positivity within viewers across the world.

Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.

Everybody plays a role within themselves, their community, friends and family. The best lesson to learn is separating yourself from the rest of your peers and trusting your own gut to know and understand your surroundings. You can only trust the source, none of what you hear; half of what you see.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The most important frequency I built my foundation from was love. Seeing children smile with you as their hero and continue their journey of growth inspired by you; the chance to give the unfortunate a better future. For people of all backgrounds, race, gender and age to be able to listen and fit the shoes of their own mind. It means more than anything to be a leader of generations
