Hi Kamali, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.

As a new business owner with a passion for aromatherapy and the transformative power of candles, I was eager to get my products out into the world of e-commerce. However, I was at a loss for where to begin until I stumbled upon an Instagram post about a pop-up shop event. Intrigued, I began researching similar events and booking them to showcase my products.

Collaborating with different event coordinators to feature my candles was an amazing experience. It pushed me out of my introverted nature and allowed me to share my passion with others. Through these events, I was able to educate people on the power of aromatherapy and how candles can transport the soul and stimulate the senses.

At my first event, I had an incredible time talking about my passion for aromatherapy and the magical experiences that can be created through candles. I sold out of all my candles and that was the moment I knew I wanted to pursue this path professionally. My creativity and knowledge of aromatherapy were too valuable not to pursue as a career.

Hi, my name is Kamali Claros. I am the Founder and CEO of Abundant Flame Candle Company. Our company is here to help people from all walks of life attract the Abundant lifestyle they deserve. Each candle is hand-poured with love and positive intention. My passion for aromatherapy, journaling, candles, and self-care led me to create my passion project, Abundant Flame Candle Co. What started as a personal project to alleviate stress and ground myself after long shifts as a respiratory therapist during the pandemic, turned into a successful business venture.

As I reflected on my life and career, I realized that I wanted to do more and help more people. I had a niggling feeling that there was more I could accomplish. That’s when I discovered the practice of “Flame Gazing” with aromatherapy candles and meditation. Incorporating this practice into my routine improved my self-awareness, confidence, and overall mindset, which helped me achieve things I never thought were possible before.

One day, I came across a candle-making kit and decided to try my hand at creating my own candles. I combined my love of aromatherapy with organic soy wax, crystals for their healing benefits, and my personal touch of candle magic and design. The result was Abundant and Lit, a line of candles that promote an Abundant Mindset and serve as a tool for self-care and relaxation.
As a woman, I know how hard it can be to find the time, space, and energy to take care of yourself. That’s why I started Abundant Flame Candle Co.

I believe in the power of candles, aromatherapy, and meditation to help people find peace and relaxation in their lives. We want to help you find that inner flame that lights your path forward in life.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

As a candle business owner, I find the most rewarding aspect of being creative is the ability to bring joy and comfort to people’s lives. Candles are a powerful tool for relaxation and self-care, and I feel honored to be able to create products that promote these practices.

Every time a customer tells me how much they love my candles or how the scents help them unwind after a long day, it reminds me of why I started this business in the first place. Seeing the impact that my art has on people’s lives is truly gratifying and makes all the hard work and long hours worth it.

Additionally, being creative allows me to express myself and share my unique perspective with the world. It’s fulfilling to create something that is a reflection of myself and my values and to have it resonate with others. Overall, the most rewarding aspect of being a candle business owner and creative is knowing that I am making a positive difference in people’s lives and contributing to a more peaceful and harmonious world.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

As a candle business owner, my goal and mission are to promote self-care and well-being through the power of aromatherapy. I believe that everyone deserves to take a moment for themselves to relax and recharge, and candles are the perfect tool to facilitate that.

Through my products, I aim to create a sensory experience that transports people to a place of peace and tranquility. I carefully select the scents and ingredients in each candle, with a focus on natural and sustainable materials, to ensure that my customers are not only getting a beautiful product but also one that aligns with their values.

I know what it feels like to struggle with anxiety and stress. And I’m here to provide some ways out through meditation, aromatherapy, and candlelight.

Our company is here to help people from all walks of life attract more abundance into their lives by using our products that are hand poured with love, and positive intention and locally made in Miami.
