Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to A C. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
A, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Do you think folks should manage their own social media or hire a professional? What do you do?
When it comes to social media, I manage my own. I’ve had a friend, Carter, help with socials for awhile when I was away from my devices.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
For those who don’t know about me, my name is AC. I began photographer through plane spotting when I lived in Oregon. I photograph almost everything from planes, landscapes, to doing a few photo shoots for friends and family. I like to try new things! I learned quite a bit of things about photography from YouTube and it usually gets me to go try something new or see things from a different perspective. I learn better when I’m out doing it through trial and error. I’m most proud of the connections I have made through photography! I’ve met a lot of cool people and made many friends. I’ve had my photographs shared by many airlines and I’ve done work for a non-profit called The Salvation Army.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is the reaction and impact a photo has on others. Being able to share what I see and have others enjoy my work is probably one of the best feelings ever.
Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.
I think something people who are ‘not creative’ will struggle with is understanding that things take time. Everyone is a creative, just in their own different way. It took me a couple years to really find my style. Don’t let others decide how you should express your creativity. It also takes awhile to learn things. The learning never stops, there is always something to learn.
