Atazshii, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Do you have any advice regarding quality control and maintaining quality as your brand grows?
One of my core business objectives is to help other CEOs improve the quality of their business. My high-ticket program Enrichment, does just that! I work with CEOs to help them operate at a higher standard and level up their marketing efforts. I believe entrepreneurs should always maintain quality despite challenges or circumstances.
Throughout my business experience, I have switched industries, scrapped programs, started podcasts and more! However, I have always maintained the quality of the business service I’m providing (even if it cost me in other areas). I believe that the quality of my work and connections I’ve built when executing projects has led me down some incredible paths. Thus, I urge entrepreneurs to always strive for excellence when growing their business. When you focus on outputting quality over quantity, the rest should fall into place.

My name is Atazshii Austin, I am a business owner and Integrated Marketing Communications Strategist. I help entrepreneurs and executives become high-level experts that attract high-quality clients. My areas of expertise include building a signature narrative with purpose, marketing your business with conviction, and building connections with integrated marketing communications.
About my business, Atazshii & Co. is a marketing communications company that uses coaching and consulting to help CEOs improve the quality of their business. The company specializes in executive positioning, messaging, value proposition, and marketing communication efforts. It is the go-to resource for CEOs, who want to embody their purpose and attract value-driven opportunities. Featuring the Enrichment program and retainer services to level up your business and marketing efforts.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
Trying to do everything at once was a huge lesson I had to unlearn. I had always been extremely ambitious, ever since I launched my first company while attending college full-time and publishing graduate-level research. This ambitious nature became a part of my identity and I constantly started new endeavors after finishing one. It wasn’t until I experienced severe burnout and unforeseen circumstances in college that I decided to commit to coaching and consulting in the marketing communications industry.
After completing a management internship, I began working for two different companies as a production intern and public relations administrator. At this point, I was still having trouble committing to one thing and being a student. I was burning out but still persevering because I loved the opportunities to deepen my expertise.
This cycle ended after my car was broken into and all of my business and work assets were stolen. My apartment lease ended the same month and I didn’t have a car to drive to work. I was forced to put my business on hold and concentrate on earning my degree. I was wearing so many hats, that I couldn’t even restore my business operations and fully return to work after the traumatic experience.
In the end, I made the decision to concentrate on my marketing communications company while working in production. This has been the best decision I’ve made.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
Social media and live events are where I get the majority of my clientele. I place a high value on face-to-face interactions within my companies marketing plan. I frequently travel to conferences or speaking engagements and build connections with those I meet. I mainly focus on my executive positioning and where I feel most comfortable connecting with others at. I’ve recently developed my creativity by going to publicity and launch events held by entertainment companies or food chains. Being that I approach prospects holistically, I can predict which events my ideal client will attend.
