Brittany, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

Established in 2018, Chat With Bee is a chic motherhood &lifestyle social community. Since its inception, Chat With Bee has experienced exponential growth and reach as demonstrated below. Bee regularly shares insight that relates to her passions with her audiences on all platforms including her blog and social media platforms.  As a stepmom, I never felt like I really fit in the motherhood niche. So much of the content that existed around motherhood was so “typical” — pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, etc., and I couldn’t relate. I just didn’t feel like I fit. So, I created a space where moms like me and all types of moms can feel like they belong.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

Chat With Bee, is a popular lifestyle & social community. As a Blogger and Freelance Content Creator, I encourage others and share my thoughts on different topics in order to enhance the life and well-being of everyone I come in contact with. Some topics I cover include motherhood, lifestyle, self-discovery, and health.

What else should we know about how you took your side hustle and scaled it up into what it is today?

When I began Chat With Bee, it was because I needed an outlet. I thought I could generate some residual income here and there, but I never thought it would blossom into what it has become today. I’ve gone from storytelling on a small scale to drawing influence on a national scale just by being me. What this looks like is boutique content creation for select brands and life coaching. One major milestone was being featured in a Good Morning America article that discussed First Lady Jill Biden and VP Kamala Harris, both of whom are stepmoms. How did you build your audience on social media?

No one story is the same. So, my advice to any up-and-coming social media creators is simple — be authentic. So often, people decide to become social media influencers or content creators for the wrong reasons. Going viral is fun, but it is important to think about how your content makes a difference in the lives of those you touch. THAT is what makes the difference between a social media account holder and a person people can trust. So, don’t worry so much about the number of people that follow you. Worry about the difference you’re making in the lives of the people that follow you.
