Alright, Shantel thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear your thoughts about making remote work effective.

Since Covid-19 I have been scouting around for Models to Model my clothing brand. So what I did was I chose my Models from Instagram and I will mail them my latest items so they can Model them and they will send me pictures of them Modeling my latest works. I have also done Virtual Fashion Shows meaning all the Models will send me a video of them modeling my latest brand. So it has been working ever since.

My name is Shantel Davis I am from Miami Florida. I am a Fashion Designer and Seamstress. I design clothing for Women, Children and some Men. I also customize my clothing meaning I design for all shapes and sizes. I started the clothing line Colors Are Beautiful back in October of 2012. In 2019 I decided to register my business to Colors Are Beautiful LLC. To let everyone know that I am able to manage my own fashion and sewing business.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

I am always meeting new and potential clients through social media. I always look out for the ones that are serious.

Can you talk to us about your experience with buying businesses?

I never bought a business but I registered my business because I want everyone to know that I am capable of running my own sewing and fashion business.
