Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tiffany Bond. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Tiffany, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s jump right into how you came up with the idea?
During the height of the Covid-19 pandemic I was working as an ICU RN here in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. Being on the front lines of the pandemic bearing witness to the devastation it was having on individuals and families alike was difficult. The emotional and physical strain of this deadly and highly uncertain time was something that affected me both on the job and at home with my family. The efforts of myself and other frontline medical workers at times seemed hopeless.
It was during this time that I was faced with serious doubts about my life. Where I was both personally and professionally, where I wanted my life to be, and what brought joy to my life. Seeing so much death during the pandemic left many in the medical field questioning core beliefs.
My heart and spirit have always been towards helping others. Having been in the nursing field for about 15 years now, the ability to provide care and compassion for those most in need has brought many years of fulfillment and happiness. However, I began to consider in what other ways I could serve others. A new light dawned upon me during my service against death and disease that one of the most important aspects of life is the celebration of the moments that make our lives worth living. That one of our greatest powers against the darkness is the celebration of the light.
Photography has allowed me to serve others by offering my skills and talents to celebrate light and life. Moments of time unique and priceless for my clients which capture for them the joy and happiness of their journeys. From maternity shoots bursting with hope for the future to Weddings filled with love and togetherness, using my talents to help my clients capture these moments and celebrate life has been one of the most fulfilling decisions I have ever made.
I am still a practicing nurse on the Frontline fighting to save lives and bring healing to those in need, but I am also a photographer who serves others by helping them to capture and celebrate life.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
As with most dreams, mine started with a thought. An idea that came into my mind as I was working in my role as A Registered Nurse. Having always had a passion for beautiful imagery, I, like most of us, have used a cell phone to capture photos of my children or events. But what started as just thought grew into an idea. An idea grew into a desire. A desire grew into a vision.
There was no one moment or circumstance that led me to begin. I have always enjoyed taking photos of loved ones or events. But to take the step of doing it as a business was scary. The uncertainty of it. Would I be good enough? Could it really be something more than a hobby? The risk was real for me. As a wife and mother, I have more than myself to care for. But then the moment came when I believed. believed that the dream could be real. Believed that the risk would not stop me. Believed in myself.
I am still in my 1st year so right now my focus is on learning my craft as best I can so I can capture moments for my clients that will last a lifetime.
What sets me apart from others is my honesty and relatability. My life is anything but normal. I have a wonderful husband that requires a lot of love and care, 2 special needs children along with a toddler, I work in the ICU as an RN, and am very experienced in the hills and valleys that life brings. I can relate to mothers and wives who are trying to capture and treasure their special moments as these moments come and go in our lives. I know how it feels to want to cherish them and hold onto them. In the rush of life and the struggle to find joy and happiness, it is easy to let life pass you by. It takes intentional effort to stop and celebrate it.
My primary focus is on maternity and newborn photography, although I also offer Family and Wedding packages. My brand is Celebration. As an RN in the ICU seeing the end of life it is my belief that when this life comes to an end and the transition to the next life happens, that which matters most is not titles or accounts or worldly things, but the moments shared and he people they are shared with.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being a photographer is getting to share in the special and unscripted moments of my clients lives. Of course I am in business to be in business, this is true, but the reward comes from seeing the newborns smile or being their to capture the stunning beauty of an expecting mother. Sharing in the blessed union of a wedding or even the fun and happiness of celebrating a family with photographs. There is much in the world which can leave us feeling disconnected and alone. Each day brings with it streaming news of division and tragedy. To be privileged to share in the moments of celebration is others lives is the most rewarding aspect of being a photographer.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
After discussions with my Business Partner, and other trusted advisors, my strategy has been based on scaled pricing across the spectrum of photography packages offered which has been fundamentally built on a core business value of honesty. That is, to being with I did sessions and offered packages for free discussing with my clients that I was new to the industry and was seeking their help to harness my skills. This was met with wide appreciation and more support than I expected. As more clients contacted me I began setting rates which were reasonable not only for their budgets but for the level of professional experience I had. I continue to offer scaled pricing and a wide range of flexible packages for clients which can meet their financial needs. I have scaled my rates up as I have gained skill and experience which has grown my clientele. It is my firm belief that honesty and openness have been the best strategies for my business.
