We recently connected with Graham Zielinski and have shared our conversation below.
Graham, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?
I really hope to leave a legacy with my work. Being able to use video to tell stories of importance that can benefit humanity would be fulfilling my dream.
Graham, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I started in this industry as an Actor. Having always dreamt of being in the kinds of movies like Jurassic Park, my favorite, I quickly found myself pursuing acting as a career. Not long after however I found myself really loving operating the camera. As an Award-Winning Cinematographer & Videographer, a licensed Drone Pilot, and a skilled Camera Operator I’ve really found what I’m passionate about. I have worked on film, television, documentary, commercial, and corporate video productions. For me, telling the stories of those I’ve met to a larger audience, really excites me and I’m blessed to be able to do it full-time.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
For me the very most rewarding aspect is putting together a video that people truly want to watch, it doesn’t feel like an ad, or that they’re watching it as a favor to me or a client rather they really do love the work. When you combine that with a story that really deserves a chance in the light I really am honored to be able to be a part of it!
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Following along with that thought process, a goal I have would be to work on a documentary for National Geographic or Discovery Channel! Even for Netflix, they’ve put out some amazing documentaries I highly recommend giving your time and attention to!
