Alicia , appreciate you joining us today. Let’s start big picture – what are some of biggest trends you are seeing in your industry?
Minimally invasive treatments have been all the rage this year. Our practice just added The Vivace® Microneedle RF device contains 36 gold-tipped needles that deliver radio frequency energy at 31 depths of penetration to gently heat and tighten the skin. This treatment allows patients to return to all aspects of their lives with no social downtime.

Customer service has always been at the core of my work and life values. In the esthetics industry I am given the opportunity every day to help others feel better about their skin and it’s a true honor! I love going the extra mile and surprising a client with extra special touches during their appointments, and I think it goes a long way. At Smoothe Denver we aren’t just placing an order for a facial, we are looking at the individual and meeting some of their needs they maybe didn’t even realize. Going the extra mile creates trust and continues to bring our clients back to us for that special touch. I truly think that the clients of Smoothe feel cared for in a unique way that is sanitary and industry leading.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
What we did when customers can’t physically come in is we reached out digitally. We focused on online communities to keep contact with our clients. Right away, we realized that the value of at-home care and little luxuries was essential during the pandemic so we began showing our customers how our products can help them still create enjoyment despite a trying situation.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Providing this type of excellent customer service has been our strategy. It’s simple starts with a genuine desire to take care your customers, You need to consider the cumulative experience your clients have when they visit your spa or website. Be open to feed back. What they think and feel, and what you can do to make it better.
