We were lucky to catch up with Jamie Wilson recently and have shared our conversation below.
Jamie, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
I started my own company with a mission. To make enough money to be able to help others. Specifically, children who are subject to child sex trafficking. I want to be the largest supporter of the companies that are working to free child sex slaves and I believe it is possible to put an end to it completely. I currently donate to Operation Underground Railroad.

Jamie, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I have always worked in corporate America. I have had great success and opportunities with my job, but always felt that I wasn’t making a big difference in the world. I wanted to have an impact, to help people. Specifically, I have always wanted to help kids.
I started an on-line store for girl’s hair accessories. The goal was to grow the store and to donate a percentage of all sales to something I believed in. An organization or person who was making the impact I was wishing I could make.
Well, after about a year and a half of working on it when I had time, sure enough, the business went nowhere. I donated 100% of my sales to an amazing organization- but needless to say- that wasn’t much, at all. I just did’t have the drive to work on it even when I didn’t have the time. To be consistent and to keep going.
For Christmas last year my husband bought me a nativity scene that was actually made in Bethlehem. It meant so much to me. The fact that it came from the birthplace of Jesus, I found myself telling everyone about my awesome new gift.
Then I had the idea. I no longer wanted to sell hair accessories. I wanted to provide unique items to women who would treasure them as much as I did that nativity set. I wanted to offer something that carried meaning and was unique. So, shortly after, in February of 2022, I launched my first faith-based jewelry items. I started spending so much time learning how to find items that come directly from Israel. I also found several items that are paired with versus and serve as a form of inspiration and encouragement to the wearer.
I found myself loving my new “job.” And it has continued to grow because of that. Not only am I serving women in a significant and meaningful way, but I am able to donate more because of it and will continue to do so. One day, we will stop child sex trafficking, and I will always work to be a part of that.
Have you ever had to pivot?
I mentioned this a little bit previosly, but I originally started selling something I was buying- girls hair accessories. I have 2 young girls and they go through hair accessories like crazy. I thought that other mama’s are likely having the same issue and I would love to have the cutest bows, clips, scrunchies for them.
While many companies have been successful in that market, it just didn’t fulfill me. It didn’t mean enough to me to keep going when it wasn’t easy. To spend my time there instead of on anything else I could be doing. It wasn’t meaningful enough, for me.
So I thought about just giving up and staying corporate and saying “I tried.” But I knew I could do better, but I needed it to be something that drove me. That I MUST do not that I wanted to do. I needed a bigger WHY.
That’s when I completely pivoted and changed my business to faith-based jewelry.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
I have learned so much from so many great speakers and authors. Tony Robbins, Dean G, Brendan Bruchard, Jenna Kutcher. They all helped me to understand why what I was doing was not working. I didn’t have a big enough reason to keep going. Now, I know why I can’t stop. Why I will always work to grow, fight and make a difference. Because I can’t ever quit. These people and their motivational stories and speeches have gotten me to where I could mentally overcome ever wanting to quit.
