We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Nadjhla Gracia. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Nadjhla below.
Alright, Nadjhla thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
The goal here at NADJEA is to focus on Slow Fashion, a sustainable approach to fashion that not only delivers optimum quality and luxurious swimwear but also reduces our carbon footprint to ensure we are environmentally friendly.
NADJEA is contending with environmental pollution by creating limited edition Swim and Resort Wear. Every collection is curated passionately and handcrafted in limited quantities with with sustainability as a focal point. Our fabrics are sourced in small batches to eliminate waste from Eco-friendly textile suppliers, toiling to meet the standards for successful Eco-friendly fashion manufacturing.
NADJEA Swimwear is packaged, branded, and shipped using sustainable, recycled, recyclable, and naturally biodegradable packaging. This means that the paper that makes up our tissues and packaging is from a supply chain managed responsibly, all part of our rigorous efforts to make sure you can be proud when you receive your swimwear.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My entrepreneurial journey began in high school, when I would tailor the homecoming and prom dresses of my friends and this experience had a significant impact on my life, which fueled my desire to start NADJEA after receiving a BFA from Miami International University.
I wanted to learn more about starting a business, so I attended school and received a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. I’m still developing, and I’m particularly keen as a designer. Fashion altered my life; it’s my responsibility to the art form itself to have a significant impact that propels it forward and inspires the next generation of fashion designers.
This concept instilled in me a desire to pursue a doctorate. Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership, specializing in Information Systems and Technology in the textile industry to unravel the environmental crisis caused by fashion.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
When I think back on my journey so far, one of the moments that I always remember is launching a marketing agency after opening a brick and mortar fashion boutique for NADJEA. After a series of horrible experiences with marketing and promoting the boutique, I started Facts Marketing Agency. I got tired of meeting countless photographers and publicists and then feeling more confused than I was before meeting them.
The focus is always on the prices and the rates they charge, and what they claim to do without emphasizing the fact that entrepreneurs need to understand how marketing and PR can help them achieve their goals. I had to switch gears so I did a soft launch for Facts Marketing Agency and counted NADJEA as the first client. Facts Marketing Agency is still growing, having the opportunity to help and learn from fellow entrepreneurs makes it all worth it.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
The first thing that comes to mind is the implementation of multicultural competence. Given the many and varied impacts of the digital age on organizations, leaders must ensure that inclusive organizations reflect the ability to understand and constructively address the uniqueness of each customer or team member. Although digitization has changed the way organizations work, it has never changed the organizations themselves. What helps an organization achieve this transformation or change is the vision and decisions of its leaders that connect the team to the needs of the organization.
There are many different ways to properly manage and implement multicultural competence. Such as assessing each individual’s unique cultural attitudes and managing them in a way that increases productivity without compromising their cultural orientation. This makes it easier to achieve management goals while reducing conflict among team members.
