Hi Aerie, thanks for joining us today. What do you think it takes to be successful?

Success is a journey. For me, consistency and lots of patience has claimed my success! Being successful requires great time management, organization, and dedication. Life moves quickly so it’s important to prioritize your business in everyday life. I grew my business in a pandemic! Staying consistent with my goals and patient with my vision has brought A|Bar to new heights.

Hello, My name is Aerie B, owner of A.estehticsBar. I am a licensed esthetician and educator for 4 years and counting! I began building this empire years before, starting my career as a professional make up artist. Advancing quickly in this lane, I was booked for big gigs, such as New York Fashion Week, which sparked my interest in esthetics. Later, I opened A|Bar, a beauty oasis. Providing exceptional experiences to beauty babes in the DMV area. We specialize in all things Brows, lash extensions, body waxing and skincare. I’ve also curated A Brow Line, designed for all skin types and tones! ;The everyday brow in 5mins or less ( that’s me). The beauty industry is what I was born to be in. What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

My Beauty Babes, My Brow Tribe for sure!

I’ve built A|Bar with blood , sweat and tears. Organically generating clients, followers from word of mouth or going viral on social media platforms.
A|Bar is an experience like no other. From hospitality to the service. We are most known for our brows and our work speaks for us.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?

As an entrepreneur, trial and error is the name of the game. I often read or listen to other hustlers ( entrepreneurs) for encouragement, motivation or down right advice. In particular, my favorite book is Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter by Curtis Jackson (5o cent). This book navigates the life of 50 cent, not only highlighting his success, but revealing problem solving strategies for entrepreneurs alike.
