Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Dazia Hall. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Dazia , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
Ever since God gave me The Untouched Movement, I truly thought that this was the only project that he was going to give to me. I thought God was going to give me a bunch of segments to talk to the people about and let that be it. Come to find out, I was truly wrong. Starting just this year, God allowed me to branch out and start my own MUA business called Belle’s and Blush Beauty Cosmetics. Doing makeup was not only just something I did when I was going out to an event with friends or family, but makeup was a passion for me. It became an art. It was something I did to express myself. It was also just something I’d love to do. Even before I started my day. I just had to make sure I did my makeup before I did anything else. It gave me that confidence which also gave me that motivation to tackle whatever I needed to do in my day. Doing my makeup just because, led to all of my friends and church family asking me main question. “When are you going to step out and start doing makeup on other people? I would always dance around the question because of the instant fear that settled in my spirit. I was honestly just scared to do makeup on other people. I felt like I didn’t have the proper experience and I always felt as if someone could always do the job better than me. So why not let them do it? In the midst of that, I remembered the exact words that my church member Yvette Daniels spoke to me. She told me “to step out and do it scared.” I was very hesitant at first, but after a while, I took the advice to step out and do someone else’s makeup other than myself. And once I started, there were plenty more people booking me to do their makeup. I remembered my mother telling me that me starting my makeup business was a part of movement. Not only was I uplifting, encouraging, and teaching others about how beautiful they were, and how God created them in his image. But, I was now seeing the fruit of what I was teaching. I’ve had clients to come and sit in my chair depressed, discouraged, not knowing what to do, feeling like they weren’t beautiful, and just ready to give up on life. But, after a good session of doing their makeup, good conversation filled with laughter and jokes, and a set atmosphere of playing my worship music, they left their appointment feeling encouraged, empowered, confident, beautiful, and changed. From my that point forward, I’ve then realized that didn’t give me this talent for nothing. He gave me the talent of doing makeup for a reason. This talent that he gave me helped uplift his people in a place where they were feeling low. Who would have ever thought that doing someone else’s makeup could make such a big impact on someone else’s life? Ever since then, God has allowed me to grow an even deeper passion for makeup to create new ideas and new projects so that his people could not only feel confident about themselves, but to feel confident in the skin that they’re in. If it wasn’t for my church member who encouraged me to get out there and do it scared, I would still be walking in fear. She saw the bigger picture that God was trying to get me to see, but I was too blinded by fear to even realize what he was trying to get me to do. So, he used her to give me that extra push and he also used her to give me a clear vision of what he was trying to do through me. And for that, I am so grateful.

Dazia , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am simply, a 22 year old who is on fire for the Lord. I am a Psalmist, a minister and an entrepreneur. How The Untouched Movement came along , all started with a few words that I confessed from my mouth when I was younger. That I was going to save myself and remain pure for marriage and refrain from anything that required me to cross those boundaries. The more I kept saying that I was going to save myself for marriage, the more I actually started to really believe it and follow behind the plan. Although it wasn’t an easy journey, my Apostle prayed over me, decreed, and declared that I would stay “Untouched”. While posting quotes on purity and abstinence, God gave me the name of the movement right before I took a nap after church on a Sunday night. The Untouched Movement is simply a movement for people and gender of all ages learning about what it means to keep themselves pure. And for those who have already given away their purity, to learn about their abstinence, all while teaching them what God wants us to refrain from and learning about their purpose and calling in life.
My crafts are blogging, writing, and doing makeup to make individuals feel good. To bring out their inner, outer, and spiritual beauty.
One thing I believe that sets me apart from others would be my realness when it comes to my craft. A lot of people can’t take the realness, but that’s all I have to offer. And it’s much needed. Things have been sugar coated long enough. I give real talk to real people.
What makes me the most proud of my craft would be seeing my vision come to past through the people that actually listen to me speak and to actually apply what words I tell them to their lives, and to see the different impact that I have on not just them, but their lives as well. To see them changing into the people that God wants them to be.
One main thing I would want potential clients and followers to know, is that age is nothing but a number. You’re never too young and you’re never too old to make your dreams come to past.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect is allowing myself to be different. Every where that you see on social media, you see that everyone else is following behind each other doing the same exact thing. And to be different from the other people that you may see, is the best thing.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
A particular goal and mission that drives me is to the see the actual numbers of teen pregnancy die down. To actually see people not “testing the waters” and actually see them wait to have sex after they’re married. To also date themselves and learn themselves for once.
Another goal dealing with my MUA business would be to see peoples true inner, outer, and spiritual shine. That they don’t have to get cute and put on makeup only to go outside of the house. That it’s okay to walk around the house with a full face of makeup on and look pretty.
