We were lucky to catch up with Ohitz O recently and have shared our conversation below.
Ohitz , appreciate you joining us today. How did you get your first job in the field that you practice in today?
Growing up I’ve always took a big interest into art and music. Drawing and learning how to record music became my hobbies that I really enjoyed. Practicing different techniques in both fields I became a better designer and artist but I’ve haven’t achieved my goal yet. My main goal is to push my agenda and expand my sound. Ohitz , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is ohitz i am recording artist from Chicago. It all started in when I was little everything I would do would have something to do with music or art. I bought equipment and a recording daw and since 2015 I’ve been recording music. I have music on all plays forms Apple Music, Spotify, etc. in the beginning it was a struggle to stay consistent but then I realized nothing changes if u don’t change it. So when I got to high school I would get up at 4 am before school to record a few songs. I also graphic design, music engineer and video edit as a side job. I am very proud of my progress so far. I just want to continue to grow and become a Wia ambassador.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy I use is just being consistent and doin it for the fun of it. When I do things that I enjoy and want to do the outcome is always better than me just doing something just cause .
We’d love to hear about you met your business partner.
Recently I’ve been working with a music group called RBO. The first artist I met out the group was (Rbo groove). I met him through a close friend (sav) in school. We became close and did a lot of music together. Another artist I rock with is sleez he’s a new artist out of the Rbo group and he has a unique sound. I plan to do more projects with the group In the future. Another artist I plan on working with is ya$ki he is also a upcoming artist.
