We were lucky to catch up with Trendsetters Market recently and have shared our conversation below.

Trendsetters, appreciate you joining us today. So, naming is such a challenge. How did you come up with the name of your brand?

We actually came up with while we were on vacation! We had been making plans and wanted a name that was different and unique. As we were thinking and shouting out ideas, my sister’s boyfriend shouted out Trendsetter, at the time we were iffy about it, but as we kept saying it, it grew on us.

Trendsetters, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

What is a popup? A pop-up refers to temporary retail stores that open for a short period of time. Holiday markets, Halloween stores, and limited engagement experiential retail are all common examples of pop-up shops.

We provide services mainly towards small business owners who want to sell their products/services to people in person rather than just online. As a popup market, we use different locations around the Houston area.

We do promotion for the public to join us for these markets/events that we do. We strive to have activities for the public, such as face painting, bounce houses, photo ops, fashion shows, etc.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

By being our genuine self’s! We love helping people whenever and however we can.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

We built it by being consistent on social media and focusing on our using trending sounds/dances. We followed multiple accounts on Instagram that help with social media content and that find trending sounds for people to use to build their accounts.
