We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Isaac Gordon a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Isaac, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea
Our Talent Partnerships program was important for us to get up and running. Our company was founded on the desire to help developing talent. From concept to execution we wanted to create value for young entertainment industry professionals, rising talent, and of course, our clients. We decided we would do 1-hour long seminars covering various entertainment business topics, mostly as it relates to touring and the live performance business. Our goal was to get the program up and running by 2023 and we achieved that goal. We held our first seminar on 1/11/23 via Zoom. Our next goal is to ramp up to two seminars each month. We’ve been able to drum up some great topics to cover and we are excited to get out the content.

Breakpoint Booking is a boutique talent agency representing developing, “breaking,” and established clients in music, comedy, and public speaking. Breakpoint is an artist-first agency, an extension of ‘the team’ working directly with clients and/or their representation to grow their live business. The company partners with its clients to provide independent music business education as it pertains to music touring, event marketing, and talent booking.
The company launched officially as a music agency in 2018 but was seeded years prior with acts such as Tank & The Bangas, Lost Dog Street Band, Mickey Factz, TheRealAK, and Jane Handcock. In January of 2022, Breakpoint officially launched its comedy division with acts with various credits from Saturday Night Live alum to CONAN and Comedy Central appearances. In 2023, the company plans to launch its public speaking division.
The agency services comedy clubs, nightclubs, amphitheaters, coffee shops, venues, live streaming, festivals, PACs, colleges, fairs, casinos, weddings, and corporate or private parties and events worldwide.
Breakpoint Booking is a New Legacy Enterprises (NLE) subsidiary and a sister company of WeAreMonsterEnt.

When is your next seminar?
The plan is to present a seminar each month moving forward. In March we will hold our second episode and it will cover “Proper Home Market Building.” This is the first step after someone decides they really want to make touring a career. We plan to release the seminars in that order of growth… from the neighborhood, to national to non-stop!
