Alright, Sherlens thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

The story behind my mission is to provide a space for women entrepreneurs to be Supported,Promoted,Empowered,Encouraged ,Motivated & Acknowledge. I’ve realized in the last couple of years of being an entrepreneur , that most women entrepreneurs don’t have a space or a sisterhood that genuinely provide those 6 components. I wanted to create a space where not only it represents who I am as a person but also allow these ladies to be comfortably enough to know that they’re not alone.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Sherlens Bien-aime, 26 years old and I am the Founder of Speema. Speema was created for women entrepreneurs to be Supported. Promoted , Empowered, Encouraged, Motivated & Acknowledged. It is a Space for Women Entrepreneurs to feel the importance in this world & to have a community that helps one another succeed. We welcome women entrepreneurs to join our community as their authentic self. We strive for our ladies to be who they are because embracing someone for their true self will help them not only gain confidence within self but allow them to embrace others with genuine love and support. We love for our ladies to have a high confidence level within self that will help them achieve the goals in life & also
Introduce them to a space where they feel most comfortably with other women that’ll help one another level up in life .

Have you ever had to pivot?

In business, career or life… know that life happens! I’ve learned being an entrepreneur that things will happen to you no matter how hard you try to stop it. I remember being in a space where I was mentally drained and had to take a break from the entrepreneurship world. Not only did it slow business down it also made me start to question my capabilities as a person. Fear & doubt was the two factors that was holding me back and I was allowing them to win. I had to understand that this vision that I want to pursue isn’t about me it’s about the lives that I’m trying to change. The purpose I was made for was right in front of me and all I hade to do was to believe in my capabilities and allow God to use me. Last year 2022 I allowed God to provide me with a Vision and I went for it. When God tells you to go … you Go! You have to have faith that he’ll provide you with whatever you need and that everything will be okay! He said ask & you shall receive and that’s exactly what I did. Now I sold out my very FIRST public event in Orlando Fl & the amount of positive feedbacks I received was unbelievable!!

Can you share one of your favorite marketing or sales stories?

Speema’s Previous event that happened this year wouldn’t had been successful if it wasn’t for the risks, dedication & faith that took place. Marketing & branding was strategized before & during. I was so certain that everything would’ve been covered for the ticket sales but towards the last week of the event I realized not only it wasn’t going to be enough…. That I was going to have to come out of pocket! People think when you price your ticket to a certain amount that it’ll cover for everything you want them to experience… most times it don’t! Events are costly! if you want to provide a luxury experience it’ll most definitely cost & you will have to charge for what its worth!
I had to rely on faith, took a couple risks , remained dedicated to the mission but overall event turned out a success!
