We were lucky to catch up with Nicole Williams recently and have shared our conversation below.
Nicole , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?
The name of my company comes from my appearance and personality. The 3’s make my name unique because it stands for my services. Makeup, little girl styles, and crochet hairstyles for women. To me when most people think Makeup Artist, they envision this super glammed professional..you know, hair laid, makeup done, luxury living individual. I dont come with any of that lol. I walk in covered in tattoos, natural faced, and this bubbly personality ready to enhance your beauty and i think it brings the originality to my business and its name.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I am a young women who decided to turn her passion into a business. I got into the makeup industry around 2016, mostly learning how to enhance my own beauty. As I got better at my craft I decided to take it on professionally in 2019 and God has been guiding me ever since. My makeup/ hair business services to ladies who want to enhance the beauty we already possess.

We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.
Doing makeup on others started as a side hustle for me because I was still working my overnight job and trying to balance being a single mom. As my mom stepped in to help me with my daughter, I got to use my down time to study and really decided what I really wanted to do with my journey. As I started becoming more consistent in my practices, and branching out to more clientele, it all just became a dream come true to be able to say I took on something that I loved and turned it into something Big!! Now I have a thriving business and I cant wait to continue to do what I love.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
