We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Nikki Hunter a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Nikki, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s been the best thing you’ve ever seen (or done yourself) to show a customer that you appreciate them?

I have given away several things and services to show customer and client appreciation. We can start with free photo shoots, free clothing and free interviews. In my other line of work. I have also giving away a free credit package so that a needy family is able to move into their new home.

Nikki, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I started my entrepreneurial life in 2014 with my clothing line Ambi Cole’s Fashion. I started my modeling career in 2016 & soon realized my passion was in management, behind the scenes and helping others gain confidence.

After a few years of managing talent I wanted to expand, which led me to open Nikki Hunter Bookings in October 2020. I transitioned into booking & developing talent. My goal is to perfect talent in order to get them ready for bookings with professional clients & help them gain confidence.

As a single mother, I still find time to balance work and family. My achievements includes being published in several magazines, publishing talent, booking talent, building a solid foundation, movie roles on Amazon prime & BET & much more.
I recently rebranded my company & changed the name. New look & New goals with stronger execution. The Agency is now Ambi Cole’s Incorporated. While operating under the new name I have signed, booked, development & traveled to Los Angeles with talent for LA Fashion Week. My mind constantly races & forms new ideas which causes me to start new money ventures to help others and myself become wealthy.

My vision is for the company to become a multi million dollar agency specializing in minorities across the world.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

Staying consistent and true to yourself. I am a woman of my word, and when I tell someone I will do something 9 x out of 10 I will get it done. I am always friendly, and I am always helpful. I am also very resourceful.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?

Always be firm. And consider others thoughts and emotions as well as ideas.
