Didi, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. One of the most important things we can do as business owners is ensure that our customers feel appreciated. What’s something you’ve done or seen a business owner do to help a customer feel valued?
At DidiDivinity we appreciate our customers so much, we offer low shipping cost, expedited shipping, same day deliveries, we keep our prices affordable, and we will deliver to your front door if it’s an item that you need immediately. It’s our pleasure to cater to the needs of our beautiful customers.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
DidiDivinity started from my love for jewelry. I would always get compliments on my accessories from people all around. I was also inspired by one of my aunts who owned her own boutique at one point every time I would visit her shop I could see myself owning my own place. Finally in 2020 during the pandemic one of my closest friends tagged me on instagram in a post where this young lady made a pair of earrings from copper wire, my friend said “ I bet you can make me these” long story short made her those. Posted them online and everyone was asking How Much?? That started the HANDMADE side of my shop, a few months later I decided to go and HANDPICK and SOURCE different and eclectic pieces. I have an eye for quality pieces and I love to sale Statement pieces that standout!! Since 2020 we’ve added statement T-Shirts. We are growing and it feels good to see how far we’ve come!!!!
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
My most effective strategy has been great and quality pieces. Most of our clients are referrals. Our customers wear their pieces and people ask “where did they get that from”?? We have the best customers! We also love to match our accessories to the different seasons every season we have a different theme to match the holidays especially. I also attend fashion shows and read a lot of vogue also watch a lot of videos to ensure that I am keeping up with what’s hot!!

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
I was overwhelmed with my day job, and down right bored. It’s my business that I love, it’s my business that I think about everyday all day. This is what I was born to do. With that, although I needed a 9 to 5 to fund my business and my lifestyle it just was difficult to do both in 2022 I made the decision to step out on faith and just do what I was called to do. And it was the best decision I’ve ever made. Business actually picked up I was able to maintain everything and I have no regrets!!!
