We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful KT- Archer. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with KT- below.
KT-, appreciate you joining us today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
The most meaningful project I’ve worked on is called ECCENTRIC, and its coming soon! ECCENTRIC is the journey of the next rap Messiah, from ILLMATIC, COLLEGE DROPOUT, to GOOD KID M.A.A.D CITY Rap changed from these albums. The shock value I bring with this is the Re-introduction to feel good rap music . this project took ten years to complete due to the changes in music and evolution in my style, the best part about it is it is 70% THE SAME! Timeless music is the goal and violent music cant coexist in my sound so this debut album will recreate the sound that made the 90’s , 2000’s , and 2010’s . This sound will save HIPHOP and bring back the times that bubble gum rap didn’t rule the industry, The equation to this project is simple : BOPS & BARS , It is a requirement to tell my story and love life with the addition to all around sounds nothing too lyrical but bar for bar and commercial appeal from the 5 Radio Ready songs will grasp new listeners. This album is for women to heal and enjoy themselves for a change versus being sexualized constantly and for men to provide unification instead of misguidance towards others in our culture. The only objective of this album is to take the culture a different direction with Bops that everyone loves and bars everyone feels that made every era switch and this is my ERA when ECCENTRIC drops!
ENJOY THE ARCHER SHOW!
PSA : IM DROPPING TWO PROJECTS THIS YEAR STAY TUNED!!!

KT-, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is KT-Archer , my music path was a very weird one due to being sheltered from rap for almost a decade .My dad always played classics and bands from Earth Wind and Fire and S.O.S to Michael Jackson and Marvin Gaye and the range goes on , my mom only played R&B , Jazz and Gospel. I was always intrigued by Hip Hop but when my parents divorced in 2003 the other side of the city developed my preferences, I was finally listening to mainstream HipHop. In 2004, Usher came out with YEAH and that changed my world Ludacris was verse of the year for me and I proved it at a Pappadeaux for someone requesting me to rap. The man was vibing to me rap bars that weren’t mine and that changed my perspective to understand that it was me that made the verse worth listening to versus him hearing it on the radio. Later down the line in 2007 I was in middle school growing up with peers that ended up in the industry years later, they sharpened my skills at the time to confirm I was a natural at the art. By 2012 , the decision was final after I graduated I decided to dropout of Community College in 2013 and pursue my calling. Lyrically I was untouchable , 2010’s was AMAZING and influenced my style but the overall commercial sound still wasn’t there and that started to develop 2018 after getting booed on stage and constructive criticism perfected my sound. You need all types of feedback to become complete and in 2019 I began my Real journey of the mix between Bops and Bars. My services since then has changed dramatically because I aid in Artist development and charge for features because every feature I’ve been on since 2019 has been a must have for anyone interested due to me being there throughout the whole creative process because its more than money to me versus someone that sends they verse collect the money and dip. I can honestly say I’m proud of my overall sound and adaptability because artist say things like they can do everything and only do the bare minimum of what they can do and that’s a scam in my eyes . My 2023 objective is GAINING. That is the overall mission gain CLIENTS, Placements, FOLLOWERS, and lastly A deal from ROCNATION. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and my journey ENJOY THIS ARCHER SEASON
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
The lesson that I had to unlearn at everything does not have to be lyrical. An artist has to differentiate between commercial and core music often and over time I finally learned that there is truly a time and place for certain styles of rap. I truly believe when the artist develops the ear to make decisions on how they want to rap on a track and the intent behind it , then the artist will always be successful. The lesson is really simple, learn your intent on the beat you are preparing to create on and understand the target because there will always be standout tracks as well as the “great for the album ” songs!

Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?
I TRULY TRULY WISH I understood the power of NETWORKING. Everyone has this thought that they are suppose to be sought out when history PROVES that systematically strength is in numbers . Most of the time artist wrap themselves in the fact that everyone you network with you have to be fond of art wise or personality wise , myself included and that’s ignorant. The beauty of networking is creating relationships with people who become your peers and take each other to the next level so don’t judge when networking that stranger might change your life talk to anyone IF the VIBE IS RIGHT
