Tony, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?

The story behind my mission in being creative is but being goal oriented. The reason I started my clothing line is because I saw the same type of clothes and wondered if you had a lifestyle of loving christ would a person be able show that to the world. We started saying it more than thats where we can see do more than let’s take care of the community.

Tony, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

We started saying it more than thats where we can see do more than let’s take care of the community. Flava Beginnings is genuinely more than a lifestyle.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

I remember I had a co worker steal money from our company and was bad mouth me to other competitors. I had to secure my reputation along with get my money back by doing legal and cutting that person off.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

I had to learned I couldn’t hire my friends. I thought because I went to college with a lot of people that everyone was as driven as I was. I found out I was wrong. I hired a couple of my friends and honestly they just wanted to hang out. I realized from that moment that you can’t be in business with friends or family.
