Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Beau Talley . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Beau , thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

I have a huge heart for people. I’m almost unsure if you can be in my business without having a heart for people. I got lead into starting my business by seeing so many people wanting to be comfortable learning music and also just needing help with personal issues. So God absolutely laid it on my heart to start a guitar school and adding the elements of therapy.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

So I’m a Guitar Coach. I started my business in Atlanta. My business has branched back home to the DMV where I’m currently at now. Of course I’m a guitar player. Been playing professionally for more than 25 years.

I got into this business to help push people in their Love for guitar. I have students all over. I do remote sessions and also many in person sessions. I also offer many music therapy sessions as well. I see students from ages 11-80.

Seeing my clients grow, reach their goals, laugh, have good moments to share with their communities is everything to my business. For those who are looking for a hobby, or to help with music for their churches and etc. This is a good Avenue to take. Actually a great Avenue to take! My business has grown so much!

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?

Yes there are a few books that I read. That were life changing for me businesses.

1:Think&GrowRich by Napoleon Hill
One of my mentors gave me this book, and it has blessed me tremendously.

2: Emotional Intelligence
I’m heavy in the mental wellness space, and personally you have to be mentally healthy as a business owner.

3: The Bible
Look, All great things come from God. I stick with God and his word everywhere I go. He has pushed me so far in my journey. You can’t go wrong with healthy word from God.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

The biggest test and story will be this. Brain Surgery to remove a tumor. It was supposed to be another way for me. God pulled me through, and it has pushed me so hard to be the best Father, and Business owner and man period.
