We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Cashflow Dolla a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Cashflow, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

First Mind Entertainment is an idea I came up with in entrepreneurship class in high school. It was meant to be a one stop shop for all things entertainment. Now it is a successful record label and management company and still will be a one stop shop for entertainment when it’s all said and done

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

My catch phrase is “You Know Me”, but if you don’t here’s a quick rundown. I am Cashflow Dolla from Memphis Tn. Started in a group with my cousins which came with multiple deal offers. Started my solo career mid 2000s and solidified myself as a known artist is Memphis. Started battle rapping and made a name for myself in that also as Hurricane Tremaine. Now I’m managing artist, my son RellMadeDat is my first and best client to break billboard and bring a plaque home. I’ve worked with some of the greatest artists in the world. 2023 it’s up!

Alright – let’s talk about marketing or sales – do you have any fun stories about a risk you’ve taken or something else exciting on the sales and marketing side?

I came out with a merch brand called Match. It really didn’t move how I wanted it to starting off because I was more marketing towards family and friends starting off. Had almost gave up on it. I wore a shirt to Andrettis here in GA and sold every shirt I had in one night all off of me going out in the shirt. It made me want to go everywhere with my brand on

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?

Make your team feel like the best and always reward them. Give incentives to employees of your company that no one else has to gain exclusivity. The better the work environment the higher the morale
