Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to LWIS. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
LWIS, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
My most meaningful project is “Blossom 2” Available 3-22-23. I put a lot of energy into this project. I talked about more than just a surface level of what a hip-hop artist strives for with their audience. I feel like there’s a renaissance really going on with the sound of music and I wanna be one of the pioneers.

LWIS, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I got into the business at 16 writing for other artist, signing in the NDA agreements. You learn a lot as far as disciplining yourself for the long run. artist development, networking, how to work a record, etc. Which set me apart from others, is my authenticity because there’s only one me. I’m most proud of the fact that I can tell my story and not someone else’s. That’s a jotted down on paper for me to read nothing against that, but it would cheapen my brand. I am most proud of this project because I’ve opened up more than what I thought I could, and gave the gritty yet artistic side of myself, I know the Lord’s will appreciate it.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I have plenty of resilience because I know a lot of artists have taken from me, but I remain silent and just kill the game with success and humbleness. My humble is a little bit different. I am the type to know that I have plenty ideas that will work that you’re not able to duplicate so that’s the Win/Win for me. Having to wait those few years and see those artists get my ideas off of course wasn’t a good feeling, but I knew I would have my time.

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
The best way to support an artist these days is to pay attention to not just only their story, but how they look look at their picture for an extra 5 to 10 seconds see if they look like an artist or a rapper. Recognize if they’re just placed here for the moment, or they’re here to make moments.
