We recently connected with Todd Sinelli and have shared our conversation below.
Todd , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.
Innovation. Yes please.
Information. Of course, and to state the obvious, make it current and applicable.
Involvement and interaction. These words are of utmost importance when asking for an audience’s attention for 3 minutes or 3 hours!
Infinitely IN – the power of being IN – whether a person aspires to be intelligent, insightful, interconnected, or to be known as a person of integrity, all of these principles can be shown through mastermind principles of “show & tell”. Just like most of us learned in grade school.
Many corporate meetings come across canned and static with motivational speakers conveying content that is predictably packaged with a poem and few prose from others. Blah. I encourage meeting planners to take a hard pass on those offers.
Engagement needs to be sincere. Entertainment needs to be considerate and appropriate to business professionals. And the educational element needs to include an experience. The infinitely IN keynote makes this business trifecta happen with 30, 300, or 3000+ conferences.
The standard in the industry seems to be to fill a 45-50m time slot. The standard for delivering the incredible, the innovative, and delivering an inspirational message with immediate application is the standard for all infinitely IN events.
Hosting companies choose which IN words to include and highlight ranging from the power of: integrity | initiative | investing | insurance | inclusion | innovation and all events have a 100% money-back guarantee behind the power of being IN.
Todd , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I grew up in the service industry.
I grew up working in the food, beverage, and hospitality industry and know it quite well. In 2010, I worked as the director of International expansion for a Dallas-based sandwich brand, WhichWich, which was ready to expand from 500+ stores in the USA into an international brand. My role and responsibility was to be the ambassador for the brand and to give presentations to investment groups from around the world from Doha, Qatar to Guangzhou, China. I traveled a lot and I attended a lot of conferences.
Most events and presentations are painfully predictable, boring and flat. I changed all that. I added magic, interaction, inquiry, and articulated a great investment opportunity during the presentations. Business soared. Agreements were signed. Deals were done in Panama, Mexico, and even Qatar.
My eyes were opened. The immense challenge and opportunity to create an engaging, entertaining, and educational event was born. I stepped out in faith to fill this void which I saw in the conference event space.
Over the last ten years, the brand has transformed from AwakenAstonishemnt.com with a brand promise of showing, sharing and savoring the power of astonishment – anytime – anywhere – with anyone – to InfinitelyIN.com which has a brand promise of helping others see the invisible, clearly through the inspiring, interactive, and innovative business keynote and IN shows based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
I thank God for giving me the creativity to combine magic and motivation into a marvelous message all packaged in the Infinitely IN brand. I am very proud that the brand now has three revenue streams with the business keynote, the IN Illusions Show, and online professional development training.
Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
Speed is the new currency of business. Being swift with communications and connections within a team and with clients is INCREDIBLY important.
Underneath the core of this needs to be a foundation of integrity. Integrity is one of those principles everyone says they have, but we all need to grow in. Simply put, integrity is doing what you say you will do and doing it.
To manage a team, the leader needs to be practicing what they are preaching. People are smart. And, they pay close attention. Gaps in integrity get noticed quickly. Yet, so does consistency and the power of character in keeping one’s word.
Speed of leader and rate of the pack. This seems cliche but it is INCREDIBLY important toward only giving what we have inside to share. You can’t give what you don’t have and with integrity, if you don’t have it, you can’t give or lead with it.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Three simple words . . . word of mouth (WOM).
WOM is the BEST and the MOST powerful source of new clients for me.
I tell people we are all in the “Show & Tell” business. Show first and tell second. I believe people want to SEE what they will RECEIVE. Being sincere, swift, and streamlined in how I present and perform really assists in managing expectations with current and with new clients.
People talk. If the experience they had with your product or service was wonderful, they will tell others. If the experience they had with you was awful, rest assured, they will tell others.
Words are invisible; yet, they are incredible, infinite, and invaluable toward building a business as well as a reputation among new clients. Hopefully, the words of others have already qualified you to serve them as well as you served the one who mentions you!
