Jorge, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?

Natural Smiles was designed with the vision of providing quality and beauty while having a biological approach to dentistry. Unfortunately, dentistry as a profession has had a bad reputation, since we have been perceived as the villain in the narrative of health. Ask someone about which physician they dread to visit and will more likely mention the dentist. We are aiming for a better outcome physically and emotionally. Our approach is one of kindness and friendliness with our patients. At the same time, we pride ourselves on using quality materials, state-of-the-art dentistry, and biocompatibility. With that integration of biocompatibility and trying to be as natural as possible to create beautiful smiles, Natural Smiles was born.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

Dentistry was a passion that grew on me as I was an undergrad. I knew that I would be doing something related to science and health since it was my passion. Later on, while shadowing at physicians offices someone suggested dentistry because it would also integrate my love for art (working with my hands) and helping people. Then I looked into it and never looked back.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

Honesty and compassion. Just treating patients like I would like to be treated.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

Word of mouth.
