Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Paige Berman. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Paige, appreciate you joining us today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
I believe to be successful, you need to be passionate. Passion not only drives us to want to be better and create more but I also believe that when you are passionate about what you do, you are successful.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I got into my industry at a very young age. I started creating and dabbling into photography when I was 15. It wasn’t until later around 18 that I started to fall in love with it. I never even knew that this was a plausible career for me. About a year ago, I decided to make the jump on it and create my own company. Ever since, I have been learning and growing and still have so much evolving to do. Currently, I am still passionate about photography but have developed a really strong love for creative directing. Creative directing allows me to tap into my creative side and for me, being able to piece together a project that I know I put my heart into, is what makes me really proud of myself.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being a creative is the affect it has on others. I love when I create something and I see others feeling inspired by it and wanting to create projects similar or that they feel inclined to reach out to me personally and ask for advice.

Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative?
I think the biggest thing they may not understand would be the production involved to create a shoot. From makeup and hair to studio location and wardrobe to lighting and editing, there is so many things that go into creating a shoot and even post-production as well. It truly takes a village to create these incredible shoots that we see.
