Most recently, I performed at the Swissotel Chicago in collaboration with Sofar Sounds. It was a quick set in an intimate setting of surprise performers. During the opening of my set, we had high energy, and soonafter I realized my sustain pedal for my keyboard died. I had applied to an event decor company not really knowing anything about it or what I was getting myself into. I met Debbie the day I walked into my interview and the rest was history. The kindest thing anyone has ever done for me in my time as a cosplayer (someone that dresses up as a character from a movie, book, or video game) was making a drawing of me. For context, I created my first-ever prop by hand, but I was so nervous to post pictures of it that I waited an entire month to post them.
