We were lucky to catch up with Rudy Robertson recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Rudy thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. One of the things we most admire about small businesses is their ability to diverge from the corporate/industry standard. Is there something that you or your brand do that differs from the industry standard? We’d love to hear about it as well as any stories you might have that illustrate how or why this difference matters.

We record all of our vacations and give all of our new and old travelers a daily one on one recap with the cameraman to blend in with our edits of the events we do daily. So when our videos come out it gives you more of a reality show feel then just a regular travel blog. That sets us apart from the rest of the industry.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

My name is Rudy but you might hear me being called anything from Jack, Jackpot, the mayor etc. I got into this industry because my mom is a travel coordinator also so I wanted to figure out a way to get some of my friends who are younger adults more involved in traveling. We offer A1 service to all our clients who decided to come aboard and travel with us. We have a 100% good time guarantee. Another good thing about travel with us is that their is always a Buisness opportunity available for you if you decide that this is something you might want to get involved with. I want people to know that we have a great team surrounding us so when you are with us wether domestic or international just know you will be taken care of.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

I believe me just being known as a fun person and someone who is known to have a good time it helped make it easier for people to put their trust in me to travel overseas.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?

My business partner and I met being in similar circles catered towards meet ups and travel. We both love to travel so it was a no brained to come together and build a movement together.
