Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Franshon Fisher. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Franshon, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
I grew up in a poverty neighborhood of the East side of Savannah Georgia. My goal is to show people it does not matter where you come from, but when you have a dream and goal, you can achieve it regardless of circumstances. It’s all about your drive and keeping all negative energy from around you.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’ve been in the entertainment industry most of my adult life, it started at Cumulus Broadcasting where I was a promotions assistant and board operator back in 2006 up until 2011. There I met dozens of people in the entertainment industry, some I still have contact with. One day during covid when the world was shut down, it hit me, I’ve done multiple video shoots, a few photo shoots for local clothing lines, and I’ve always loved to entertain and make people enjoy themselves, I want to be an actor. That’s where it all started, I did some research and got on a few acting sites, but as I was doing that, I also said to myself, I’m not just going to sit around and wait for someone to tell me I’m good enough for there film, I know what I can do, so I started writing, and shortly after was the birth of BlazeHustle Films LLC. One of the projects I’m most proud of is the very first short film I wrote, directed, and stared in entitled (Hoe’s 4 Urbody) I know the name is out there, but it’s an attention grabber, there is substance behind everything I write. I write scrips for clients, shoot and direct clients commercials ect. I just started my company January of 2021, between that time and now I have built a great team of like minded individuals with a goal of putting out high quality work. 2023 my followers can look for a brand new sit-com, more short films, and a feature film.
Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
The best advice I can give for managing a team and maintaining a high morale is very simple, but most or a lot of people get it wrong. Treat your team like people, they all know you’re the owner/boss, but you have to treat them with respect like you want them to give you. If they have an opinion on something, stop and hear them out. Actually think about it and if it sounds good try it. That goes along way. When my team and I step out anywhere, nobody on the outside know’s who’s the owner or boss or whatever, they just see people working together or enjoying life together. That’s how you keep the morale up.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist for me is bringing a character alive that the director was looking for. When I really feel rewarded is when I have an out of body experience. It’s hard to understand if you have never felt it before, but my first time feeling it was back in 2020 when I had a roll in a sci-fy film entitled (Just as Good) not yet released so I can’t say to much about it, but it should be out in 2023 from The Oni Committee. But it’s like, I was all the way in character, I was so much into the character I felt like I was literally outside of my body watching me perform. I know it sounds crazy, but when you’re passionate about something and get into it hopefully one day you will feel it.
