Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Brit MVP. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Brit, thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
I’ve dreamed ever since being a young girl about helping others in some capacity. I remember being real young, sitting on the floor in front of the television watching commercials where young children were hungry and starving in third world countries. I cried as I told my mom, “One day I’m going to help these children Mommy.”
I have a passion for helping others. I quickly learned that I can leverage my skillsets as an Online Business Manager in my late 20’s and fell in love with helping business owners grow and scale their businesses through operations management (systems, processes, workflows, and automations).
I want to leverage my income to support 3rd world countries. Specifically building water-wells throughout villages in Africa, and traveling the world providing support to those in need.
I have fallen in love with what I do, not only because I’m helping business owners create their dream life, but also because I am a black woman on a mission to help change the world.
Online business management has allowed me to generate consistent 6 figures over the last few years with continued growth and scaling and I can not wait to be able to not just donate to building and changing the world, but ACTUALLY build.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I started out 7+ years ago as a young worker in 9 to 5 management positions. The employer’s business changed and many people got laid off, including me. I wasn’t willing to cut my salary (almost in half) while they went through a “rebrand”. I was running the entire office! Finally I said enough!
A few of my best friends were entrepreneurs. That inspired me to give business ownership a shot. I knew working online would give me the most options while providing the freedom I craved.
I STARTED OUT AS A VIRTUAL ASSISTANT BILLING $10 AN HOUR.
Then became an Executive Assistant with higher rates at $25 to $50 an hour.
But the whole thing got super boring.
That’s when I met Beejal Palmer. He became my mentor and taught me everything about systems, processes, and delegation.
This was a real eye opener. I now understood how to make any business run smooth as glass, achieve far greater efficiency with lower costs and higher profits, and do it all on autopilot which gave the owner lots of free time and ability to not only focus on growth and scaling, but everything they loved.
Here were the keys to escape limited pay and boring work. It was the pathway to growing a business quickly, earning 5x or even 10x more, and filling the experience with freedom, fascination, and fun.
THAT’S WHEN I BECAME A BUSINESS PROCESS OUTSOURCING STRATEGIST.
I mastered the skill set and quickly found myself as an expert in this field of work.
Referrals flooded my inbox and never stopped. I was overwhelmed with gratitude. I had finally found my passion. I loved this work. And I especially fell in love with the FREEDOM it offered.
Since then I have developed the in-demand skills and advanced knowledge required to be a Fractional COO/OBM. I have helped hundreds of businesses transform their operations for far greater success and ease of operation.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
When I initially started working online, I had just left my office manager position at a doctor’s office. I was freaking out because I had just got my first apartment, my first car, and I was feeling untouchable. However, feeling appreciated and valued in the workplace was way more important to me.
I quickly found myself working as a Virtual Assistant for multiple clients within my first 60 days on working from home and online. I quickly became bored because I was NOT experiencing the time freedom that I craved. I was still working overtime, just now I was working overtime from the comfort of my home. I was very appreciative of the space I was in, but I didn’t LOVE what I was doing at all.
I quickly had to pivot from that space because I had a vision for my future and making $10 – $20 per hour and still being burnt out as a Virtual Assistant wasn’t going to get me there.
I started to manifest a new way to insert myself into the online space, and I almost immediately learned about the Online Business Management space. Literally doing what I was doing in majority of my corporate positions but for more business owners at a time and much higher price point.
I fell in love with Online Business Management, not because of the money (although grateful for the financial freedom I was building), but because I was helping others transform their lives through systems, processes, workflows, automations, team management, metrics management, and project management.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?
The one thing I absolutely love about building an online business is that majority of the time in the online service providing space, the overhead is little to none.
When I initially started my online business, I had exhausted my savings because I had to pay bills for the next 2-3 months until I onboarded my first couple of clients.
Gratefully, I was in a space where I already had a phone and that is literally where I started. I did everything from my phone.
My mother helped me build my website, and get my business email created.
My best friend let me use her computer from time to time.
Then, after a few months, I built enough capital to invest in my own office supplies, office equipment, and still be able to take care of home.
You have to stop making excuses for yourself and make it work!
Was it comfortable to work from my phone? Hell no, but I wanted to build a business and one of my best guy friends, Eric Ellis, always told me that anything I need to do online for my business I should be able to do right from my phone, no excuses.
