We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Natasha Larson. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Natasha below.
Natasha, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Parents can play a significant role in affecting how our lives and careers turn out – and so we think it’s important to look back and have conversations about what our parents did that affected us positive (or negatively) so that we can learn from the billions of experiences in each generation. What’s something you feel your parents did right that impacted you positively.
My parents from a young age gave me an opportunity to grow up in the states (I was adopted at age 7) and have unlimited access to growth. The faith and drive they showed got passed down to me and have helped me continue to be a hardworking, independent woman who can’t be told no (HaHa)

Natasha, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Having other entrepreneurs in my family naturally led me to launch my own company back in 2011 and has allowed me to work in a field that I am passionate about. I have such a genuine love for flowers and weddings, they bring me so much joy. Anyone can learn to design but when you design with love and passion that makes all the difference; your clients and staff can see it.
I have built LFC to aim to create timeless florals that fit our client’s vision and budget. Taking the time to customize our proposal for each client has created an overall one-of-a-kind experience for them.
I can’t put into words how 12 years ago I dreamed of having the business that I have today. From having a team of fabulous designers to doing large weddings and corporate events, our own large studio to growing a new division for LFC. I am so excited about the next 12 years!
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The most effective strategy for growing our clientele has been the relationships we have built with vendors and past clients.

Do you have any stories of times when you almost missed payroll or any other near death experiences for your business?
Many years ago I made some bad budgeting decisions which cause some very stressful weeks. I ended up having to get an overnight job to make ends make personally and business-wise. I learned quickly to manage my funds better and budget better.
