We recently connected with Diondre Mompoint and have shared our conversation below.
Diondre , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
After the release of my debut book, “A Paradoxical Life: Where Did We Come From?”, I started my blog called “Origins Weekly”. For the longest of time I wanted to own a blog where I can freely write about topics with the hopes of reaching other people. I tried to make a blog before, but it was not successful. This time around, I have a plan, a vision and a stronger passion for what I do. Origins Weekly is not a huge platform like the other blogs we see; it is different and has niche topics. For these reasons, that’s what makes Origins Weekly the most meaningful to me. I was able to create a website and write articles consistently in topics and discussions many experts would not recommend. I did the opposite and did what I loved.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
For anyone who doesn’t know me, I am Diondre Mompoint, a father, author and biologist. My love for science started when I was a child and it continues to hold a place in my heart as a man. For the past few years I started to combine my interests in science and writing and never looked back.I began to place my heart into writing topics in science, the origin of life and life content. Today, I am owner of the blog, “Origins Weekly, the author of the book, ” A Paradoxical Life: Where Did We Come From?” and a freelance writer for a few major platforms. My writing has reached and touched a few people.; a few people more than I expected. This alone has made me proud and motivated to write more. I believe the most unique aspect about my writing and content is the unorthodox topics that I present. I write and speak of biospirituality, life paradox and concepts that make you think deep like “Bigger Bubble Thinking”. I think these topics are what attracts readers since most of them are unheard of or outright mind-boggling.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
Being a creative has unlocked confidence and the willingness to inspire an audience. A major part of my writing is to show others to not doubt themselves and do what you love. I was not always too optimistic about writing nor thinking I have scientific credibility(since I do not have my PhD yet). I had to come to a realization that I am capable of applying my scientific knowledge and writing together. After putting this type of mentality to the side, I was able to see my thoughts and ideas come to fruition. Experiences like these and sharing it with others is what is most rewarding to me. I usually leave a message in some of my books and writing. A hundred people can read and if it only touches one person, then I am happy.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?
This question stood out to me…I currently run the show myself, but hope to have a team to help me continue the success of my brands. I do have experience with management so I hope to implement the same things for when I have my own team. My best advice is to always take care of people and they will take care of you. I’m also a big believer in respect; we are all human and deserve a line of respect. Lastly, the most important thing is to stay true to yourself. Let’s be honest, business is important, but situations can still be handled with empathy, correct communication and compassion. Keeping your beliefs in line with your moral compass is a sign of being true to yourself and is the golden standard. Managing a team this way will keep any team with high morale. Extra Tip:**All of these qualities must be genuine**.
