Alright, Natalie thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Do you manage your own social media?
Social Media is constantly evolving and changing. Currently I am still managing my own social media but I admit it’s difficult to keep up with the latest trends. Personally, I’ve decided to just keep social media fun. I’ll plan out my instagram feed but I don’t let social media add stress to my life.
Natalie, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am a wedding and couples photographer in the Kansas City area. I strive to document all of my clients in an authentic way that is unique to them and their story. Every session is different, but my approach is the same- to put my clients first. We have fun during sessions and wedding days. I like to keep everything stress-free so my clients can truly enjoy themselves. When they are living in the moment the images become candid and natural. Then I deliver a full gallery that matches all their memories from the day.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being a creative is serving my clients well. Getting to use my creativity and art to tell their story in an authentic way. It’s an amazing feeling to be a small part of my clients big days and documenting the memories they’ll cherish forever.
Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
My favorite resources are all the ones that keep me organized! Honeybook, google calendar, and google drive. For my photographers- Photo Mechanic! It’s the fastest culling software I’ve found.
