Having new or innovative ideas is essential to pushing the world forward and so we asked the community to share stories of the most innovative things they’ve done in their career. Our hope is to inspire folks who think only scientists or tech-wizards can innovate – innovation is possible for everyone, regardless of job title or function, industry or geography.

Shortly after moving to Missouri I got the opportunity to redesign a nightclub in St. Louis. I’ve designed sets perviously for music videos as well as have an understanding of color and space but this was a new venture for me. This nightclub had good bones and they had an idea of wanting to create something that felt more modern but also up scale. One of the most innovative accomplishments I was able to achieve within my role as a graphic designer has been being the Creative Director for my work’s (Kranzberg Arts Foundation) music festival, Music At The Intersection. Not only was I in charge of all the social and printed graphics for the festival but I also designed stage banners, entrance signage, street signage, and engagement signage. It would definitely have to be Ada Lip Beauty. Our lipsticks are pigmented only with vegetables like beets, radish, potatoes, turmeric, and spirulina. Research and development took 4 years and we finally have a really nontoxic lipstick with pigment that packs a punch! Read more>>

I was solely working as a photographer, but due to the growing social media trends. I decided to become more than just a photographer. I have become a videographer and content creator.
