We were lucky to catch up with Moses Hall recently and have shared our conversation below.
Moses, appreciate you joining us today. Day to day the world can seem like a tough place, but there’s also so much kindness in the world and we think talking about that kindness helps spread it and make the world a nicer, kinder place. Can you share a story of a time when someone did something really kind for you?
In business, it’s not often that client’s become family. However I had the distinct pleasure and opportunity to befriend Pastor Gicele Gi-Gi Wray-Lindley and Dr. Omar Lindley. I was a recent college graduate and looking to start my career in commercial real estate. Fate would have it that I would cross paths with Pastor Gi-Gi at a political fundraiser in downtown Chicago.
Being enthusiastic about breaking into this industry, I was excited to meet new people and network. I was blessed to have the opportunity to talk with Pastor Gi-Gi and share my endeavors in this industry.
Being the person that Pastor Gi-Gi and Dr. Omar Lindley were, they invited me out to dinner downtown.
At dinner I discovered that they own several businesses and own several pieces of real estate.
They shared with me their vision for expansion and growth.
Even though being newer to the industry they encouraged me and gave me some of my first opportunities in commercial real estate.
They took me in as family and Pastor Gi-Gi often referred to me as her little brother.
Over the years we have gone to sell and buy millions of dollars worth of commercial real estate together.
And it all started with a belief in me.
This is meaningful to me as a look back over my career to see where I started to where I am now, I am amazed. I have been blessed to win Top Producer Awards and Realtor’s Magazine 30 under 30 Award.
I owe my launching pad to success to these two individuals. Sadly we lost Pastor Gi-Gi unexpectedly recently, which took us all by surprise. She was an amazing pillar in the community and impacted so many people lives with her kindness, dedication and love for helping others.
Thank you for all that you do and have done.
Moses, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
The best source of new clients for me is referrals. I am intentional about attending certain industry related events and networking with everyone in the room. I am in a relationship oriented business. It’s also important to leverage social media to continue the growth of brand awareness. Let your audience know what events you will be at and also things you are working on. For my business model, LinkedIn has been a great tool for helping to generate new business.
How did you build your audience on social media?
Social media can definitely be overwhelming for many business owners, but it can be rewarding once you discover what works best for you. Each platform usage depends on your target audience. If you are a service provider educational content is always important. However you have to mix up business related post with personal post as well. With platforms like Instagram that have rolled out Reels, it’s now easier to get discovered by potential new customers.
You can use trending audio to get boosted higher on people’s feed.
If your business is more B2B then Linkedin would be great platform to market on as well.
