We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Sierra Parker. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Sierra below.
Sierra, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
Success for me is directly related to MY PASSION for my craft. To be successful you must LOVE what you do, be willing to take the L’s with the W’s and believe in yourself when no one else does. Personally, if I think it I can achieve it, simple as that. My passion is empowering others to see their inner beauty and tap into their God given talent. There will be many late night, lonely nights and moment you question if you’re spinning your wheels, BUT it’s in those moments that you have to HOLD ON and keep pushing because you’re on the BRINK of a breakthrough. My faith has carried me through may doubtful moments but I’ve always been my biggest encourager because I believe in myself and my own abilities.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Sierra Parker and I’m the CEO & Founder of iamSierraParker THE BRAND LLC, which is the umbrella brand for my empire: Sie’Nic Designer Boutique, Sie’Luxe Brows, Queening in MY Purpose Nonprofit Organization.
I was born in Monroeville, AL and raised in Schertz, TX. Growing up, I always had a BIGGER-than-life personality, and to be honest, I didn’t know how or what to do to leverage ALL of my talents and interests. I worked for Wells Fargo Bank for 13 years in the retail and back office.
I thrived in the company, but in 2005, when I attended a training class, I discovered my passion for learning and development, this my career moved to facilitating and teaching. The thought of being able to insert my personality into my job was paramount in my decision and provided an enjoyment that I’d never experienced at work! Learning and Development is my calling, as I have an opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives, which is what I innately LOVE to do.
In 2018, I decided it was time to turn my passion into something that would serve those outside the walls of my professional organization and TRULY make an impact in my community. My desire was to create a safe place for women to come and feel WHOLE – no matter what. The President & COO of Q.i.M.P., Rachelle Smith, was my committed cohort all also passionate about teaching, counseling and conciliation services. We started out with just us two hosting women’s conferences, volunteering, hosting monthly ladies’ night out, and giving back to schools and families in our community.
We have since evolved and grown; Carmalita Dilworth, Executive Administrative Assistant, Nichole Holloway, Director of Youth Outreach and Founder of Girls Living the Dream Mentorship Program and Lashonda Hollins, Life Coach each serve within our organization. It takes a POWERFUL team that understands the assignment to TRULY make an impact and I’m thankful for the collaborative power we’ve harnessed. My passion for teaching and outreach is only matched by my love for fashion. I’ve ALWAYS loved clothing, makeup, hair, and more and during the pandemic, like most of us, I was forced to tap into my gifts. Iamsierraparker THE BRAND, LLC was born July 2020, and Sierra and The Girls Boutique (now Sie’Nic Designer Boutique) was birthed in September 2020. I’ve always SHOPPED like crazy for myself, so what better idea than to shop for others too!
I currently offer ONLINE and PRIVATE boutique services, as well as continue to operate in the corporate job! I love the person-centered attention that I am able to provide to my clients, as I try to make each feel exclusive, because they are. I realize that without client support, there is no business and I believe this approach has resulted in the success of S&TGB. We aim to be trendsetters and support other businesses without fearing any competitive downfalls, as we’re in OUR OWN LANE. I believe each boutique is unique and has its own style that caters to an audience or an occasion, so there’s room for success for each business. Moving into 2021, I aimed to challenge myself to tap into another talent that would add to my love of fashion and beauty – permanent makeup. I developed the business model for my third company – Sie’Luxe Brows.
I flew to Los Angele, CA, in August, trained with a phenomenal instructor and on my 35th birthday, I introduced Sie-luxe to the world! Yet again, my passion for teaching has come to the forefront and I’ve attained the knowledge to be able to certify other technicians through a structured curriculum and hands-on learning – Sue-Luxe will offer its first training course this month. I LOVE to teach and I’m VERY excited to share my skillset in a new industry.
These last 5 years have been an ABSOLUTE adventure, as I’ve been granted the opportunity to have multiple, thriving businesses in industries that I love. I take nothing for granted and feel very fortunate and thankful. I’m appreciative of my city, customer support, and community strength!
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
My reputation is built off of WHO I AM as a person. My businesses bring income but I NEVER make it about the money for me, it’s SERVICE first and the money will come. I genuinely ENJOY all aspects of the services I provide and people can feel that, word of mouth has ALWAYS been my biggest marketing tool.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Quality work & products, Word of Mouth and Social Media.
