Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Stephanie Williams. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Stephanie , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
Success looks different for everybody, but I genuinely see success in everyone. We are unique and designed to succeed through the obstacles so that we can be on the other side where we are not just surviving but thriving.
Success is beginning even if you don’t know where to begin. It’s trusting the unknown and being able to tap into your inner being. This is where you hold the power and courage to begin once you do you will watch the magic unfold. No more living in the shoulda, coulda, woulda stage now is the time to jump.
That’s why it’s important to take your life stories and lessons and allow them to lead you to your purpose. It’s building the muscle strength, wisdom, understanding, boldness, and fearlessness to step outside of your comfort zone which will lead you into your future self/legacy.
I honestly think a great way to lead to success no matter where you currently are in your life is by taking baby steps. With that being said, you will need to set up an end goal, then mini goals towards the end goal so that they can be achievable and manageable. Plus, learn to celebrate each and every step you take because that is a big deal and you are worth celebrating and being recognized for the steps you have made. You didn’t give up, you stayed consistent even when the motivation was not there. You still showed up and pushed through. Remember every day is a new day. and we all have the same 24 hours each day. Therefore, that ultimately means we hold the keys to each door, so what door are you willing to open next?
I know for me personally I am living a life towards success by being a single parent of three boys, two of which are autistic. Working a career job while attending school to complete my Masters in Jurisdiction for Child and Family Law. As well as being an author, speaker, and transformation coach as I lead my business Stephanie Speaks towards being a successful business by helping women across the world to be change leaders in the own lives so they can live out a successful life by living in the purpose in helping others and building the legacy.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers?
I am a CEO and Founder of Stephanie Speaks. I am a published author, speaker, and transformational divorce coach. I have been featured in several media, video, and interviews. I am very passionate about empowering my audiences and clients with my step-by-step systems so they can release the past pain and hurt, remove the ‘victim’ mentality and replace it with a ‘warrior’ mentality. So, they can be able to see the power that’s within them. To surrender to the healing process and overcome the obstacles that come the way. Plus, with my proven techniques, my clients and audiences will easily connect by identifying themselves with who they are so they can live a fulfilling lifestyle to be contagiously free. I have a life-long commitment to being the Best of the Best for my clients. Whether I am speaking to a group of twenty or hundreds. I will do my best to ignite the atmosphere with my proven steps so that clients can remove the blinders of limiting beliefs placed by others and themselves. So, they can shift into a new perspective on life. They submerge themselves in believing the power within so they can emerge and flourish into the gifts and talents they possess.
My primary mission is to break through their pain, conquer their fears and transform their lives after divorce. She is highly passionate about helping women reinvent themselves after divorce. Through her 1:1 and group coaching programs, she helps women break through the pain of their divorce and emerge transformed and reacclimated to society as their new and improved selves.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Divorce! That word alone is taunting for the person going through; this word is often spoken about loosely. Divorce was a beast that I had to tackle. It certainly was frowned upon, and I had constant reminders that I had made a choice. Of course, I felt confident in my decision as I saw it as necessary since I was living and experiencing a toxic marriage. It took courage and contemplation to make a bold move with three growing boys.
I underwent many phases of denial, where I had to give myself permission to grieve and be angry. For me to come out on the other side to become fully healed mentally, emotionally, financially, and spiritually I had to accept and stop asking myself the what-if moments. So that I can truly move forward and surrender to the process. I had to learn to stop rushing and allow time to teach me so I could live in true joy and freedom. I refuse to have temporary happiness, as I deserve to live. As healing has no expiration date, it comes in stages; just like an onion, it has different layers, and with each layer, you get deeper into the pain.
That pain is what made me reidentify with the calling in my life. Through my season of acceptance and growth, I strongly feel empowered to help women resolve, reclaim, and reinvent their life after divorce. I had to pull myself through the other side, and I am passionate about doing the same for others. I am 100% committed to helping divorced women to break through their pain, conquer their fears and transform their lives after divorce.
I strongly feel drawn to help divorced women rewrite the story’s ending so they can live with the authoritative purpose and create a legacy that will be unforgettable for generations to come.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
The first step to tackling social media is knowing who you are and the why behind your brand. This will help you be genuine, authentic, and vulnerable to your community as you create your brand community. Remember, you are your brand, you’re not your business name, your logo, brand colors, and your social media content.
Social media is not that complex when you look at the simplicity of learning and knowing that “YOU” are the brand. It will make a difference in how you will show up and connect with the people drawn to the specific content you put on your social media. Which is how I can show up on social media with confidence as I share from my personal life and share valuable content that will help others through their life journey and obstacles. Being personable will help you automatically attract your audience.
Especially, the more you niche and narrow your target audience to build your true community, the more you generate sales.
Another great tip is collaborating with like-minded coaches, authors, and speakers by sharing content with others, going live with them, and providing value to each other, highlighting your area of expertise as you speak. This is what I call the 3Cs: Connecting, Community, and Collaboration.
How are the 3c’s accomplished is by building connections with your target audience by sharing your branding message. Through that, you are creating a community by strategizing a plan to help them in their current area of need. This also leads to collaboration where you can consistently build on your area of expertise and increase your visibility and credibility online and offline through collaborating with other experts.
