We recently connected with Philippe Leung and have shared our conversation below.
Philippe, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you tell us about an important lesson you learned in school and why that lesson is important to you?
I am a very much a very visual person, I learn a lot from videos, picture, painting, sometimes music and just walking around the world around me.
One thing that I learn a lot in school for Photography is to pre-visualise. a vision that is in your mind that you want to make and doing your research do make that happen.
That has not only help me in my conceptually but also help me on understanding what I need to make the work happen and how it should be done.
sometimes even though not everything will come together, but normally you will only need small adjustment to make it happen.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Hi I am a Philippe Leung, I am a senior in SCAD studying BFA in Photography (Documentary) from Hong Kong. I am still a student currently so I am still yet to be in the creative industry.
However, as with Photography I am always been in love with it. Not only with the outcome, but also the process. When I was in my middle school years, I have watch The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty, It was the film that has inspire me the most to be the person that travels the world to photograph, both the good and the bad in this world.
Currently, I am very proud of the environment that I am in. Not am I in a very creative, but also with supportive people that gives productive answers to questions we all have.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
To become one of the world best Photographer / lens-based artist
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Doing something that you really love to do
