We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Kateryna Armenta. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Kateryna below.
Kateryna, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about how you got your first non-friend, non-family client. Paint the picture for us so we can feel the same excitement you felt on that day.
The first few of my clients were met at the female event. I love different events where you can learn something new and meet new people. So every year, I go to at least one or two events. So it was only a few months after I became a Life Coach and got certified. I still needed to learn how to find my clients and how people should find out about me. I was working on setting up my business, including a website and so much more.
So I came to this event, and while I was walking from booth to booth, looking at what other people do and getting some free goodies, a few ladies asked me what my name was and what I did for a living.
It was one of those moments when you just changed your career, and when someone approaches you with that question, you forget your title. But after I pulled myself together and told them what I did and how I could help them in their life, I could see the sparkle of curiosity in their eyes.
Several weeks passed after the event, and those people contacted me by phone, asking to schedule their first consultation. They mentioned that they were following me on social media and did like what I had to offer – it was at that time I thought no one was interested in what I was trying to do. Now I know people are watching at all times.
Want to become someone? – start to act like one.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I was born in Kazakhstan and grew up in Ukraine. Already at 16 years old, I fearlessly stated to everyone that I would be living in the US one day. At the time, no one among my family or friends could believe what I had planned for my life. I graduated in Ukraine with a financial degree and in Poland with a Quality Control Management degree before traveling the world and working on cruise ships. I traveled to the US for the first time when I was 19 years old and spent a summer in New Jersey working as a lifeguard. When I returned home, the sparkle in my eyes changed forever, and nothing could stop me.
In 2013 I decided to move to the United States to settle. I found myself managing condominiums and homeowners associations. I have been a successful Community Association Manager for over five years with several certifications and designations until one day, I found my true calling in helping women to discover their potential and become ambitious boss ladies who take control of their lives.
Being in business, I saw so many women who don’t value themselves and don’t think they deserve more for many reasons. With my background living in Ukraine and remembering women around me who would say so often they didn’t have a choice and could not live a better life, I realized I wanted to help women to have a choice with everything they want to do. Through my deep work and transformation, I discovered the power of the right questions.
I offer everything I learned to my clients through Ambitious WE Life and Career Coaching.
Several services Ambitious WE Life and Career Coaching offers:
-Online Program (helps women to realize what is important, set SMART Goals, create a plan, and fit it into the busy life of women)
-Events and Workshops ( Local events are scheduled 2-3 times a year)
– Personal one-on-one coaching (Online programs and workshops can give you a kick start but usually not long-lasting results, that is where one-on-one coaching comes in. This profoundly personal work on the client’s goals and potential)
I also recently published my first book, “I Know What You Need To Succeed” and “My Way To Success” Planner.
I am still growing as a Coach and a Business Owner.

Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
Wow, I love this question! I would love to share a small part from my book that can explain so well how I could make it happen.
Building A Detour
After moving to the United States, I have always been impressed by how they build roads and bridges here. It was nothing like in Ukraine where I used to live. There the situation would always look the same: people would build and repair during peak travel times, and you would be stuck in traffic for hours. When finally passing by the work area, you would see only a few people patching the road for example. Here, every time they rebuild, repair, or add something, it seems almost effortless and has no impact on the traffic. In fact, all these years of living here in Panama City Beach, they never stopped widening and improving the infrastructure.
But what important lesson did I learn from that? Every day I would see them working on the side of the road, preparing the ground, making lanes, and starting to pour the asphalt layer after layer. When the traffic would be impacted, workers will instead work at night when there are fewer or no cars on the road. You are watching all of that happening on the side, not influencing your daily travel much at all. But then one day you leave the house and when you take your usual route, suddenly you are driving on a completely new road.
What does building a road have to do with your career?
Because you can pave the way for your new life or career while still driving on the old roads temporarily to support your current lifestyle. You will probably have to work harder on the side, and you might even work at night, but it will pay off. One day you will switch to your new life or career almost effortlessly.
Now you probably could guess, I worked as a CAM while building my new road to my life coaching business.
It is no secret, it wasn’t easy, and at times I was ready to give up. But when you have passion for what you do, you will push through and one day almost effortlessly switch to a new road.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
I can talk about books a lot. I loved to read books before, but last two years, I set myself some high goals of 50 books a year. In 2021 I was able to learn from 55 amazing books. This year I am on my 42nd book so far.
