We recently connected with Loosevinci and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Loosevinci thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. The first dollar you earn is always exciting – it’s like the start of a new chapter and so we’d love to hear about the first time you sold or generated revenue from your creative work?
Aaaa , when I started uploading music to other platforms I use a distribution app called “UnitedMasters” . I released my 4th song through it , but as months went by and ya know payout days I was getting 0$ . And this was around January 2020. And it was like that for a year straight just no guap , shit crazy. But like come 2021 November- December my streams started growing growing and I was like “ nah this an’t real I’m going back to sleep. Then I actually wake up and it was REAL life. Even tho it was only like 54$ it still meant a lot cause a lot of people don’t believe in your craft till they see the so called “ fame and Money”. It was good day for me and a start of not to much but not to little money revenue in my pocket “.

Loosevinci, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Growing up with 5 sisters And 4 brothers including me in a 3-4 bedroom house has always been something that push me towards music I come from a Haitian family 🤍 , my older brother “Neil” use to rap like lyrical rap and I just use to
watch him do his freestyles and song recordings , actually all my older siblings use to rap but then again they did everything sports , dance , etc. But me I more into skateboarding & basketball , getting into sports at the time. I stated listen to dubstep music and danced to me and my second older brother “Sam”, Loved trap & dubstep music it was our go to skating music. We was around like what 7-12 until my brother went to the 6th grade , and we moved. my music choice changed a little as well as my life . New school , new friends, new everything but we all go through that at one point. I had went thought half my whole life . But it was music keeping me at sane even at depressed times. My first 3 years in middle school I started having freestyling circles with my friends every rising and mid classes before 1st period and 6-7th . Lunch to someone would just drop a beat then we all start going in. 8th grade year wasn’t my best I mean my grades were good A, B but I was mentally down and doing depressants drugs and just not rlly caring, until one point just dreaming and seeing my future self. And it was like a comforting dream as if I just passed a hard level and reached Olympus. And I was on this road for like 2 months straight plus , until I said I wanted to take a different turn on this road. I started writing for real gathering a dairy ahaha or notebook and just pouring everything , every-thought , dream , experience, emotions into that dairy. We didn’t have good but we didn’t have it bad either , like my parents weren’t rich but always tried everything In their power to get us what we wanted . Come 8th grade graduation into the 9th I met new people who were like me mentally like had the same idea “We love music and want to make music”. I really started working on my craft and working on my first song “silly humans” I released that during 9th grade year and it caught me some attention around school ya know and my brother hears it and he’s like “ bro this is hard you gotta make more music” and I was like “nahh basketball the way , but ima keep writing, freestyling “ months go by I get a hot white girlfriend, we break up after 4 months then I released my second song “ WhoAreYou” which put me on the Orlando,Florida map , like my teachers knew about the song so that was pretty cool ahaha, I joined my brothers group “LF” at the time was “LiveForever3028” that’s actually when I first knew LA!$H made music , cause I knew lavish form my brother from older times. And as a collective we moved our music , and ourselves and officially branded ourselves as “Rappers/Artists” as any other group, you know every other artist felt like they needed to work on themselves ya know and me as well so you know we didn’t break our friendship but we as a collective just said we all need a glass of the reasoning of continuing, focusing on our craft and getting better blowing up . What I can say is what type of music I bring to my fans it’s not always logical, but it’s always a meaning behind it. Like, even if I am making a music about a dream, I had an experience that happen in real life or a movie I watched or an anime they gave me , a certain type of book I read. In your own way, (Vision) and fantasy and untold knowledge is what I bring to my fans. But in a fun and cool way , so for not giving up all these years and still pushing, and seeing the results, I can say to myself that I have more to learn, but I have big expectations for the future and I will reach international , I’m not going to say I’m not special but I’m not saying I am special because at the end of the day what makes you special is what you hold and you and there’s only you. me so that’s what is special about me and there’s only one of me and my personality. I had really distance myself from things and people that didn’t serve me to strive for my dream I had to really elevate myself. I’m proud that I didn’t quite music and I don’t Plan on to, In my 30’s ima just come up with different genres or different synths.
And when i make music I don’t sit down and dissect the song and say “ ok how can I make this song Catchy and blow up worthy” that’s corny to me if the flow and beat comes and comes and it’s meant to be , just like the lover and it’s partner. loose !

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
Play your artist music share your artist music , buy the album , let your artist know you care . Especially if you’re posting about the artist, you know Cause at the end of the day this is our job. Like we work hard on these songs to get the songs out to the world and a fans you know it’s just like someone working hard in the kitchen to cook for the same.
We’d love to hear your thoughts on NFTs. (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
I feel like any of these NFT’s are a good investment just because you don’t have an age limit and allow the consumer to come up like these other rich people. And also allows the creators/artists to showcase the work and get paid for it.
