Alright, Ca$ino thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
The first time I realized I wanted to pursue an artistic path was when my brothers and I tried to start a sing group like New Edition & we used to rehearse in the living room with our mother along with the dance moves and all!
Ca$ino , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
For those that don’t know me I am a two time Trauma Survivor in which I was shot 6 times close range while sitting in MY car and I recently survived a near fatal car accident in Miami with Love & Hiphop Atlanta’s rapper/reality star Lil Scrappy. But how I got into the business is a story within itself. Honestly I had no Help from no one but GOD because through all the ups and downs which I’ve seen more downs than ups GOD has always been with me. For those that follow me or may have came across my content on social media or maybe even my music I always try to give my audience a piece of me that they can relate to. Because nowadays inspiration is far but few in society and especially in rap music so what I aspire to do with everything I create as well as with my traumatic yet inspirational story of redemption is give the world something and someone to believe in. And what I feel like seperates me from others is my story of determination and survival that anyone anywhere can relate to. My most prized accomplishment has been when I was able to take my mother with ME to a Gang & Drug Prevention Summit that had over 2500 kids in attendance and I was the guest speaker.
Another thing I’m most proud of was creating the most innovative & the most creative show on the planet called Tha B Syde! Which airs live every Tuesday and Thursday night at 9pm on my personal Facebook page.” Can you please add that somehow? If so I’d be greatly appreciative.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Absolutely! If resilience was a person it would be me! To overcome all that I have and to still be in the pursuit of my own happiness is a story within itself of resilience, determination and the grace of GOD manifested in the life of one individual.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
Yes my particular goal / mission for what I do is to be remembered in my family as the one who created generational wealth.
