Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Britton Vanlandingham. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Britton, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
In our new song “Eye of the Storm” we took the story of Jesus and the apostles at sea and made it our own. In the storms of life, it is always comforting to know you have the one who created it all with you at all times.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
“Sixty Months” is a reference to the passage of time one goes through in life to reach an entirely new chapter. Whether it be reaching a goal or developing relationships, we believe 5 years is a good measurement of time it can take to drastically change your life. We are songwriters and best friends who have common goals to address obstacles a Christian faces in an ever increasingly dark culture.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Creating a community who share common ground. There is so much beauty in many of the things God has created. Rejoicing together with fellow believers is the most encouraging and rewarding thing.

Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.
I think people underestimate the power of the influence art has on a culture. Supporting Christians who are trying to be a light in the culture wars of today is SO important. We are wanting to change the hearts and minds of those who have never seen His love.
