Andreja, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?

You must have passion and purpose! A BURNING DESIRE to create a life beyond what you are living in now! Removing all the negative self-talk is key! The non-supporters, those are the ones who should be driving you daily! You must focus and put in the work consistently even on days when you don’t feel like it. Be open to learning something new whether you think you know it or not. I know hard work, customer service, and relationships drive our business. Being upfront, showing up daily and caring about your customer and team base is so important!

Growing up, my dad, who came to Canada with $20 dollars, worked hard his whole life. He always told me “If it was Easy, everyone would be doing it!” He reminded me of this often! You must give something special, and people will always come back. Stay focused on daily activates in your business and don’t let anyone steer you away from what is important to you!!!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers?

Let’s move on to buying businesses – can you talk to us about your experience with business acquisitions?

I am a cosmetologist by trade so my dream of owning a Salon started to become a reality. I bought my first business at 21 and was in debt $150k and wasn’t scared at all! I know I was hungry and was determined to do well. I remember walking into the bank and telling the bank manager I wanted to buy a business and he said, “How much money do you have saved and what do you have for collateral?” I said, “My Kenwood stereo, my Hyundai Pony and $900 dollars.” He was the kindest person he said, “That’s great! Do you think we can get your parents in here for a meeting? We may need their help!”  Now remember back then $900 was like $10k LOL. So, by the end of the month, I owned my own business with the help of my parents believing in me and cosigning for me! I had that business loan paid for as quick as possible! Here is something, not only did I believe in myself, with my management experience of running a corporate Francise salon, my work ethic and integrity, but my parents did as well!!! And the journey began! That was my first business!

We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.

We got introduced to a whole new world called Network Marketing!!! Everyone does it daily. We network and talk about our favorite hairdressers or product or restaurant, but do we get paid for it? NO!! …. We got introduced to this back in 2009 and it truly has-been a huge blessing in our lives! Oh my gosh I love this business! It definitely changed our financial blueprint from broke, tired, and uninspired to feeling amazing, loving life, waking up to a purpose, changing lives, giving back more and the Greatest… it gave us time freedom! PLUS, a big one, LEVERAGED INCOME!! Most don’t understand what this is, but the ones who do, well… They will do anything to earn it! We help so many do the same and it’s been a huge breath of fresh air for us!
