We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Casjmir Briggs a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Casjmir , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Folks often look at a successful business and imagine it was an overnight success, but from what we’ve seen this is often far from the truth. We’d love to hear your scaling up story – walk us through how you grew over time – what were some of the big things you had to do to grow and what was that scaling up journey like?

I can’t stress it enough how important networking is. Networking will change your life. Having the right people pouring into you will change your language & perception of business. For example when I first started my business I didn’t have a team it was just God & I, but he shifted my atmosphere & started connecting me with business owners & influencers that had more than me. I mean divine connections started forming at vendor events I was attending to get my business established. Now I have a whole team supporting me. I’ve branched out to hosting events, making websites for other entrepreneurs, creating platforms for business owners to promote there products & services on social media all because I started networking.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I’m Casjmir Owner of Everyone Luvs 2 Wear Casjmir/ Matte Babes a private label Matte Lipstick Brand. I specialize in assisting women to come out of there confront zone & make a statement before they even speak. I got into this business because I love matte lipstick prior to me starting my own private label I had a massive collection lol it’s safe to say i had an addiction lol. I am a mother of 2 beautiful children thank you Lord for my babies. I am an influencer please follow my WE ALL CAN WIN page on Facebook to stay motivated & to network with some of Columbus, Ohio amazing entrepreneurs. I’m the vendor event coordinator of BOSS BABES VENDOR EVENT in Columbus, Ohio. I’m hosting my 2nd vendor event CHRISTMAS ON HIGH at BIG BANG COLUMBUS at 1516 N. High st Dec 3rd from noon-5pm I’m so excited to be working with some amazing ladies to bring this event to life. Also I’m hosting my first SIP & PAINT PARTY on 11/12 at 4899 Sunbury rd. tickets are on sale now on eventbrite. I’m so thankful for every opportunity & divine connection that God has given me in this season of my life & I know he has so much in store! IM READY STAY TUNED!

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

The key to building a social media presence is to stay consistent. I remember I would set alarms on my phone based off my insights on Facebook & Instagram so I could post content.

I ain’t gone lie tho it can be overwhelming posting & trying to keep up with everyone who’s engaging because your life is more than social media right, but regardless of how your feeling create content because it’s your presence that gets you to where you envision yourself & it’s God who gives you the provision which is our creativity & a sound mind to stay there.

Also join business groups post in the groups & engage in the groups with others start networking. Pass out business cards with your social media links on it & always keep them on you.
